The soft summer rain falling against the old pained glass windows.
Gentle drops meeting against the glass secretively entwined for an eternity.
I lay there, my heart filled with anticipation.
Waiting for a sign, But I knew none would appear.
My duty was to regain faith,
to become victorious once again.
To hold the honour of Righteousness
Why then did my heart feel the load of carrying a much too heavy burden.
My heart craved for this world. Whilst my soul longed for the next.
I close my eyes, and wish myself back to the old days. When life seems yet so simple.
No trials,
No hardships.
No doubts.
A life free of worries.
How I wished I could reverse time. Just to get a second chance. Now my end is nearing, and I have no excuses. But so many regrets.
My heart yearning to accompany the heavenly clouds gazing down beautifully upon me.
I wished I could sit there forever. Watching the sun set.
Gentle warm tears falling silently down my face.
For an eternity it seemed I lay there,
For my Happily Ever Ending.
1) If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it
2) If you don't ask, the answer will always be no.
3) If you do not step forward, you'll always be in the same place
