I hope you don't mind I borrowed your beautiful drawing to make this animated gif.
If any members desire to snag it for personal use, please wait and see if Sister Fatima approves of the gif and gives her permission for it to be snagged.
MashaAllah very nice work by Uncle Woodrow, I remembered doing such things last semester but I need to plug in my external hard disk and dig on my old stuff there :X

yeah, saving the pictures as gif lower the quality of the image...thats why I dont like it that much
It is a trade off. JPEG probably gives the highes quality pictures, While GIF allows for more editing options and allows for more effects.
An option, although time consuming is to save the picture as a JPEG, Give it a name such as Image. Open the saved JPEG picture with Paint, save it as a GIF but name it Imagegif and open imagegif with paint and use the paint tools to go over and brighten the colors etc.and resave as a gif.
well....finally I find some of my "ancient" stuff after digging on my hard disk when I was learning photoshop 2 years ago.....Now I feel that everything I learned had been wiped off
I used to write some things on pictures like this one as a beginning:

I do see the wisdom behind using just Paint. It restricts the tools you can use, and you must rely a lot of your creativity and have a lot of patience to design something amazing. Pixel art is one of those examples
