I know my time will come,
I can feel it in my heart,
I can feel it within my soul
My hands become rather cold, and I think of what my lie ahead.
Frightening thoughts begin to enter my empty head.
I begin to analyse my life and all within
I remember the bad things I did and I begin to cry,
Suddenly I let out a fearful and helpless sigh
What if I hide? Maybe then it cannot find me?
What if I ask to have another chance? Maybe then I wont have to die?
I pace across the empty room, analysing again all that I have done in life?
Oh why didn’t I strive? For Islam, why didn’t I strive?
My loss, it was in the end mocking those that prayed tilled the day did end.
Wasting their youth I mockingly said with such zest but I know now that not me but they will achieve the best.
Fast cars, dodgy money that was the world I lived in
I didn’t even care to think that all I did was in lustful sin
I being to rock to and fro, my head resting on my knees, tears begin to stroll down my cheeks
Anytime now, anytime.
Oh god forgive me, surly you are the most merciful I begin to cry
All of a sudden everything goes black,
My vision disappears and voice sounds like an echo, everything becomes pitch black
‘Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…………
I scream, but there now, is no turning back
Everything is said in this text. Ithink it could apply to anyone of us! We all tend to forget that our life on this earth is only an exam, a test to see if we deserve to enter al-Janna inshaallah ya rab! May Allah ta'ala guide us and help us to follow is path!
Masha allah, sis sadia. That was a very beautiful poem. It is very true, too.
btw: you have the same name as my little sis.
:rose:This beauty that I have is just a simple part of me.This body that I have, no stranger has a right to see. These long clothes and this shawl I wear, ensure my modesty.Faith is far less fickle than fashion. Wouldn’t you agree?
That was really great!! It really touched my heart!!
Jazaakalah for sharing sis!! :applaud:

Masha'Allaah nice poem. I would like to remind members that personal conversations can be held via private messaging Insha'Allaah, which would be safer and more appropriate.
