Subshanallah another great poem that I thought I would share with you!
IF THE PROPHET (Peace be upon him)* VISITED YOU,
JUST FOR A DAY OR TWO,
IF HE CAME UNEXPECTEDLY,
I WONDER WHAT YOU WOULD DO.
OH, I KNOW, YOU'D GIVE HIM YOUR NICEST ROOM,
TO SUCH AN HONOURED GUEST;
AND ALL THE FOOD YOU'D SERVE HIM,
WOULD BE THE VERY BEST.
AND, YOU WOULD KEEP ASSURING HIM,
YOU ARE GLAD TO HAVE HIM THERE,
THAT SERVING HIM IN YOUR HOME,
IS JOY BEYOND COMPARE.
BUT... WHEN YOU SAW HIM COMING,
WOULD YOU MEET HIM AT THE DOOR.
WITH ARMS OUTSTRETCHED IN WELCOME,
TO YOUR VISITOR?
OR...WOULD YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES,
BEFORE YOU LET HIM IN?
OR HIDE SOME MAGAZINES AND PUT,
THE QURAN WHERE THEY HAD BEEN?
WOULD YOU STILL WATCH FORBIDDEN MOVIES,
ON YOUR TV SET?
OR WOULD YOU RUSH TO SWITCH IT OFF,
BEFORE HE GETS UPSET?
WOULD YOU TURN OFF THE RADIO,
AND HOPE HE HADN'T HEARD?
AND HOPE HE HADN'T UTTERED,
THE LAST LOUD, HASTY WORD?
WOULD YOU HIDE YOUR WORDLY MUSIC,
AND INSTEAD TAKE HADITH BOOKS OUT?
COULD YOU LET HIM WALK RIGHT IN,
OR WOULD YOU RUSH ABOUT?
AND, I WONDER... IF THE PROPHET* SPENT,
A DAY OR TWO WITH YOU,
WOULD YOU GO RIGHT ON DOING THE THINGS,
YOU ALWAYS DO?
WOULD YOU GO RIGHT ON SAYING THE THINGS,
YOU ALWAYS SAY?
WOULD LIFE FOR YOU CONTINUE,
AS IT DOES FROM DAY TO DAY?
WOULD YOU KEEP UP EACH AND EVERY PRAYER,
WITHOUT PUTTING ON A FROWN?
AND WOULD YOU ALWAYS JUMP UP EARLY,
FOR PRAYERS AT DAWN?
WOULD YOU SING THE SONGS YOU ALWAYS SING,
AND READ THE BOOKS YOU READ?
AND LET HIM KNOW THE THINGS ON WHICH,
YOUR MIND AND SPIRIT FEED?
WOULD YOU TAKE THE PROPHET WITH YOU,
EVERYWHERE YOU PLAN TO GO?
OR WOULD YOU, MAYBE, CHANGE YOUR PLANS,
JUST FOR A DAY OR SO?
WOULD YOU BE GLAD TO HAVE HIM MEET,
YOUR VERY CLOSEST FRIENDS?
OR WOULD YOU HOPE THEY'D STAY AWAY,
UNTIL HIS VISIT ENDS?
WOULD YOU BE GLAD TO HAVE HIM STAY,
FOREVER ON AND ON?
OR WOULD SIGH WITH GREAT RELIEF,
WHEN HE AT LEAST WAS GONE?
IT MIGHT BE INTRESTING TO KNOW,
THE THINGS THAT YOU WOULD DO,
IF THE PROPHET MOHAMMAD*,
IN PERSON CAME,
TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH YOU.
* Sallallah Alaihi wa Salam
"It may be that you hate something when it is good for you, and it may be that you love something when it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know" -- Quran 2:216
mashaAllah the concepts you have written are so true, would we change for that one day? its just, it wouldve helped with a bit of versing and no caps lock but i can see youve written this with some passion. overall good mashaAllah.

IF THE PROPHET PEACE BE UPON HIM CAME BACK FOR ONE DAY.....
if muhamad peace be upon him came back for one day
would he smile? ......would he frown? what would he say?
would our Televisions hide? kiss our music goodbye?
would our lives change for one day?
He brought so much love and guidence to the world
He called Allah message to vibrant to the world
He was determined to reach his goals
His existance was for God alone.
Has the love that he sent all disappeared?
Has the light of his guidence faded over the years?.....
Has the laughter he made all turn to tears?...
..................why have we become so discontent?
Its a feeling the prophet would not have sent.
Would we hide our live all from one man
who fought all he could, we should do all we can....
Allah has blessed us all, with a choice from right and wrong.
if Muhamad peace be upon him came back for one day
would he smile? would he frown? what would he say?
would our Televisions hide? kiss our music goodbye?
would our lives change for one day?
The ........... bits are ment supposed to be when you pause and think.
may allah bless the beloved prophet peace be upon him inshallah and the companions of the prophet peace be upon him.

(Sura Ya-Seen 36:83)

Here is a moving poem i heard recently in a talk. A good method of self analysis. making me think about my ways
I Wonder
If the Prophet (SAW) visited you just for a day or two
If he came unexpectedly i wonder what you would do?
Oh i know you'd give your nicest room to such an honoured guest
And all the food you'd serve him would be the very best
And you would keep assuring him you're glad to have him there
That serving him in your own home is joy beyond compare
But when you saw him coming would you meet him at the door?
With arms outstretched in welcome to your heavenly visitor
Or would you have to change your clothes before you let him in?
Or hide some magazines and put the Qu'ran where they'd been?
Would you still watch your regular movies on your stereo TV set?
Or would you rush to switch it off in case he (SAW) gets upset?
Would you turn off the radio and hope he (SAW) hasn't heard?
And wish you hadn't uttered that last loud hasty word?
Would you hide your worldly music and instead take Hadeeth books out?
Could you let him walk right in or would you rush about?
And i wonder if the Prophet (SAW) spent a day or two with you?
Would you go on doing the things you always do?
Would you go right on saying the things you always say?
Would life for you continue as it does from day to day?
Would your family conversation keep up it's usual pace?
And would you find it hard each meal to say a table grace?
Would you keep up each and every prayer without putting on a frown?
And would you always jump up early for prayers at dawn?
Would you sing the songs you always sing or read the books you read?
And let him know the things on which your mind and spirit feed?
Would you take the Prophet (SAW) everywhere you planned to go?
Or would you change your plans, just for a day or so?
Would you be glad to have him meet your close friends?
Or would you hope they'd stay away until his visit ends?
Would you be glad to have him stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh with great relief when he (SAW) at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know the things that you would do
If the Prophet (SAW) in person, came to spend some time with you.
