Can someone kindly verify that the calculations below are correct. I get the feeling I've gone terribly wrong somewhere. I would've asked my teacher, but I have to hand this section in tomorrow :X
The Newton-Raphson method on a solveable equation:
***** قال ابن أبي مليكة : أدركت ثلاثين من أصحاب النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - كلهم يخاف النفاق على نفسه
Ibn Abī Mulaykah said: "I encountered thirty Companions of the Prophet, every one of them fearing hypocrisy for himself." [Muslim]

lol we're doing that in AQA further maths, looks like ocr is way harder!
goodluck bro
He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers. [Quran {33:43}] www.QuranicAudio.com www.Quran.com
I calculated again, and this time I got the same answers and the ones above except there seems to be slight rounding error for x1, x4 and x5
JazakiAllaah khayr ukhti!! ....yh, just checked it again; corrected the rounding.
