I am a trainee teacher, researching opinions about the place of philosophy in education, and I want to know how different sections of the population think on this issue. I admit that I do not know many Muslims, but I want to get opinions from all sections of society, so I would really appreciate it if anyone can spare 2 minutes to fill in my survey. Obviously it would be good to dicuss the issue on this forum too. It is my opinion that we need to give philosophy a more central place in the educational curriculum, so that young people are better able to comprehend the modern world.
