Best way to start (in my opinion) is to start with memorizing smaller Surah first. Keep reciting a few times until you have them memorized and then recite them in your daily prayers.
When you go to a big Surah, memorize half a page or one page, as you like, and then recite it in your daily prayer.
Keep a daily schedule for memorizing. At the end of the week, revise whatever you have memorized during the whole week.
At the end of the month, revise whatever you have memorized during the whole month.
And then in Ramadhan, revise whatever you have memorized throughout the year until you become a complete Hafiz. Once you become a complete Hafiz, don't forget to recite at least 3 Juz daily.
