Yes it is possible. You need to pay Yahoo for that level of access (then you will have the "POP" mail access info needed)
Gmail on the other hand is free for that kind of access. Please refer to their help pages for setting this up.

To set up your Outlook 2007 client to work with Google Mail:
Open Outlook.
For new setups, select 'Do not upgrade'.
Select 'Yes'.
Enter display name, email address (including '@googlemail.com') and password.
Click 'Manually configure...'.
Select 'Internet Email'.
Settings name, full email address (including '@googlemail.com').
Select IMAP; use given incoming/outgoing servers.
Username should be full Google Mail address, including '@googlemail.com'.
After this screen, clicking 'Next' takes you to the end of the setup.
Select Tools > Options > Mail Setup. Under 'Email Accounts,' click 'Email Accounts'. Select account and click 'Change' above the list of accounts. Click 'More Settings', then the 'Advanced' tab.
Incoming server must be 993, and must use SSL encryption.
