Three simple rules in life:
1) If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it
2) If you don't ask, the answer will always be no.
3) If you do not step forward, you'll always be in the same place

Should I seek a source of law other than God, when it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (Qur'an) fully explained? And those whom We have given them the Book know that it has been sent down from the Lord with truth, so be not of those in doubt.
I'm looking for a thread about a son hurting his mother and then about to stab himself (I think) and his mum says: Do not hurt me in the same place twice....Meaning her heart and her sons is one and the same...any ideas?

There was this thread agesss ago with an article by Shaykh Yasir Qadhi I think, which dealt with the question "If the Prophet SAW wasn't a prophet, then what was he?". Something like that. It showed that he can't have been a madman, nor a person seeking fame etc. I'd be grateful if you could find it.
However, the thread has been closed. PM your reply to a Staff Member if you think it should be added, and inshaa'Allah a Mod will add it in, or open the thread if they think it's appropriate.
