I am intending to start an e-Newsletter. It's just an idea floating in the back of my head, so I thought I'd speak out on it and get an estimate headcount of how many would participate in accomplishing this project.
Basically, we need a few writers, possibly some designers, and perhaps even a few managers to handle each section. I'm thinking of Spirituality, General Advice, Book Reviews, Creative Writing, etc. It'll be in PDF form.
Again, just an idea being thrown out. You might be wondering who'd subscribe. Well, first of all, it IS free. And secondly, I'd like to safely say that I have a list of 20,000 people (contacts from previous emails I used to send out etc) who'd subscribe. You can say 10K just to be safe. Insha'Allah!
So please post your thoughts, feedback, suggestions, and if you are interested in assisting. And of course, we need a name for it as well.

all forms of Qalam/AlQalam are taken. We need something like QalamNews or something. Anyone got a word we can add on to the link/domain? We'll title the newsletter Al-Qalam but for the sake of domain, we need to add a word to it to make it unique. :X
eHafiz, are you able to register an .int (international) domain ?
I know you can do .eu (european) domain. The reason being, the writers will be from all over the global therefore alqalam.int would be appropriate...
EDIT: ok, nevermind we're not an organisation established by an international treaty between or among national governments, lol.

I like alqalam-newsletter.com so it's clear exactly what it is. There is a al-qalam website I came across offering scholarly advice, which al-qalam the newsletter would definitely not be.

Let's think of one fast. Actually, I was thinking two. The reason being, when we tell someone about it, they are gonna ask for spelling etc, so I want something like QNewsletter.com or something, get it? And it'll redirect.

I've purchased QalamNewsletter.com because it's shorter. At the end of the day, the link doesn't matter too much. The title does. And the title is "Al-Qalam".
But on the next note, what should the shorter link be? QNewsletter.com is taken. q-newsletter.com is available...
What's an easier link we can use to give people? Ideas?
Sorry about the QalamNewsletter if you didn't like it. =X I just wanted to get something before it goes. Some companies watch these things so they can resell for higher.
