I saw a light in the distance coming closer and closer.
I raised my hand to shield my eyes, surprisingly this did no good.
The light seemed to be penetrating through my hand.
I closed my eyes but still to no avail. My head was spinning.
The light was unbearable...
Just when I thought I was gona die from the severe headache it was giving me I jumped up.
Looking around me I found myself sitting on my bed.
It was only a dream I told myself.
I reached out to turn on the lamp next to my bed.
To my horror I noticed my hand had gona right through the lamp as if it wasn’t even there!
I pulled back my hand in terror.
Slowly I reached out to touch the lamp again, but the same thing happened.
What was going on?!
I glanced at the clock; the luminous numbers read three in the morning.
What was I doing awake at this time?
I wanted to go back to sleep but I was enveloped with fear.
Questions but no answers.
I jumped out of my bed and ran to my mom’s room hoping for some condolence or answers.
I walked up to her bed and tried shaking her awake.
She didn’t get up.
“Umi?” I whispered calling her.
“Mom please get up!”
I started to feel panic.
Why wasn’t she answering?
Is she dead?!
I quickly illuminated that possibility.
No!
She can’t be!
“MOM!”
My voice was really loud now, but still I got no answer...
aww sis that's really nice am waiting to see the nxt bit and i hope her mum is not dead.
Three simple rules in life:
1) If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it
2) If you don't ask, the answer will always be no.
3) If you do not step forward, you'll always be in the same place

I went inside and was surprised to see someone sleeping in my bed! Whaaat...i was speechless. The person was an exact copy of me.
I glanced at my hands.
If that’s me then who??
My head started to hurt again.
Mom wasn’t content with dad’s words she walked up to my bed and placed her hand on the person.
“Muhammad? Muhammad?” he didn’t reply back.
I couldn’t take it anymore and I started to shout. “Umi! I’m Muhammad. I’m right here! Why can’t you see me?” my words fell on deaf ears. She was shaking the person now, crying. I ran up and sat down next to her crying. “Mom!”
All of a sudden she screamed. I covered my ears and started to cry even more. My brother jumped out of bed awakened by her scream.
“Mom please don’t scream. Please don’t cry. I’m right here Umi...” I tried again.
Great story sis! Carry on! Don't leave us in suspense pwease!

“The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs is afflicted, the whole body responds to it with sleeplessness and fever”.
I looked up to see my dad walk up to us.
He placed his hand on the chest of the figure that was sleeping on my bed. After a few minutes he pulled his hand back slowly with tears escaping from his eyes.
“What’s happening?” my brother asked franctically.
My dad looked at him, his eyes moist with tears.
“Your brother has died, Ahmed. He died.”
He bowed his head with grief.
I started screaming and shouting, hurt that they couldn’t hear me.
Hurt that they couldn’t see me.
Hurt that they thought I was dead.
