27 06 2008 How many times have we thought of doing a good deed but then canceled or changed our mind simply because it seems like its not worth it. Or the hassle is too long for something so “minor” when we could spend our time doing a bigger deed when more often than not, we don’t even end up doing anyway
Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [salAllahu alayhi wa salam] said:
“Do not disdain a good deed, (no matter how small it may seem) even if it is your meeting with your (Muslim) brother with a cheerful face.”
A deed may seem so small and insignificant in our eyes, however in the sight of Allah, it may be something great. No matter how small it seems, even if it seems like its just part of our habits, we should still continue to do it, because if done for the sake of Allah, who knows what blessings lie in it. Although that shampoo advert may make no sense because like whats shampoo and dandruff got to do with being worth it, but anyways, lets forget head and shoulders for now. Whenever you think of doing any deed, however small it may seem, hurry to do it..because its worth it *smiles*
“The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs is afflicted, the whole body responds to it with sleeplessness and fever”.
Do you by any chance know what happened to the tawheed lessons?
Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar
that was a nice reminder mashAllah..
between could anyone let me know wht does "wa iyyaki " mean???
"O Muslims! If anyone among you worshipped Ramadan, then know that Ramadan is dead. But those of you who worshipped Allah, then know that Allah lives and will never die. Indeed Allah created Ramadan and He also, in truth, created Shawaal, Dhul Qidah, Dhul Hijjah, and all the rest of the Months..."
its meant to be said when some one says jazakhallah khayr - may Allah reward you with good and because we are such nice people, well i am D we say wa iyyaak - you too
Jaa-Ro-Nee-Mo!!!
