I do drink when I'm thirsty, which is quite often and after meals. But I don't think I go out of my way to make sure I drink 8 glasses of water a day.
InshAllah I'll try to be more hydro-friendly

Wow thats a lot sis....When I'm at uni I drink loads....But at home I tend to forget
I know lol. Only bad thing about it is that I end up having to go to the bathroom a lot, and that gets really annoying, really fast.
I have a water bottle with me at all times, at school, home, in my bag when I'm out. It really helps, because sometimes even if I'm thirsty, I'm too lazy to get some water. So it's readily available alhamdullilah.
Actually my mum sent that exact article to me once, and also to my uncle who's a GP. He replied, saying there was no medical evidence for this, and that our bodies warm it up to 37.4 degrees and use up more calories in the process.
She was quite annoyed at his reply lol.
