Nu'man b. Bashir reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The similitude of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever. (Book #032, Hadith #6258)
Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for." (Sahih Bukhari: Book #1, Hadith #1)

a related hadith:
“The first who will be consumed by the Fire on the Day of Resurrection will be three: a scholar, a Mujahid, and a generous donator.
As for the scholar, Allah will bring him and ask him: ‘What did you do in the dunya?’ So, he will say: ‘I acquired knowledge for Your Sake, and I spread it seeking Your Pleasure.’ So, it will be said to him: ‘You lied. You learned so that you would be referred to as a scholar, and it was done, and you have obtained your reward in the dunya.’ Then, he will be ordered thrown into Hell.
Then, the donator will be brought, and Allah will ask him: ‘What did you do in the dunya?’ He will say: ‘I acquired wealth from permissible means, and I donated it for Your Sake.’ It will be said to him: ‘You lied. You donated your money so that it would be said that you are generous, and it was done, and you have had your reward in the dunya.’ Then, he will be ordered thrown into Hell.
Then, the fighter will be brought, and asked: ’What did you do?’ ‘I fought in Your Cause until I was killed.’ ‘You lied. You fought so that you would be referred to as a brave man, and it was done, and you took your reward in the dunya.’ Then, he will be ordered thrown into Hell.”

Pray tahajjud:
Allah Most High said, "Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of the night, and (the recital of) the Qur'an at dawn. Lo! (the recital of) the Qur'an at dawn is ever witnessed. And some part of the night awake for its recital, as voluntary worship for you. It may be that your Lord will raise you to a praised estate." [Qur'an, 17: 78-79]
Nothing is difficult unless we think that we can't do it.
Avoid quarreling:
Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, "The most hated person in the sight of Allah, is the most quarrelsome person." (Sahih Bukhari: Book #89, Hadith #298)
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. [Bukhari Vol 8 Book 75, Hadith 414]
Let's all try to do this every single day .
Don't abuse anyone:
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not abuse anyone, Do not look down upon any good work and when you speak to your brother, show him a cheerful face." [ Sahih Muslim: Book 32 Hadith 6359]
Ask Allah during night:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?"(Sahih Bukhari: Book #21, Hadith #246)
Allah makes us afraid:
Narrated Abu Musa: The sun eclipsed and the Prophet got up, being afraid that it might be the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment). He went to the Mosque and offered the prayer with the longest Qiyam, bowing and prostration that I had ever seen him doing. Then he said, "These signs which Allah sends do not occur because of the life or death of somebody, but Allah makes His worshipers afraid by them. So when you see anything thereof, proceed to remember Allah, invoke Him and ask for His forgiveness."(Sahih Bukhari: Book #18, Hadith #167)
Ask forgiveness of others:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."(Sahih Bukhari: Book #43, Hadith #629)
Like for your brother which you like for yourself:
On the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed: one amongst you believes (truly) till one likes for his brother or for his neighbour that which he loves for himself.( Sahih Muslim: Book #001, Hadith #0072)
We must not forget this Hadith and should remember to act on it.

Never pray when you are feeling drowsy:
Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, "If anyone of you feels drowsy while praying he should go to bed (sleep) till his slumber is over because in praying while drowsy one does not know whether one is asking for forgiveness or for a bad thing for oneself."(Sahih Bukhari: Book #4, Hadith #211)
Always remember Allah:
And remember Allah in your heart, with humility and fear, in quiet voice, day and night; and do not be one of those who are neglectful." [Quran Al-A’raaf, (7:205)]
Race for forgiveness from your lord:
“Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden (paradise) whose width is that of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous – Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity or in adversity, who restrain (their) anger and pardon (all) men – for God loves those who do good.” Qur’an: 3:133-134
Never look at those people who are higher than you:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Look at those who stand at a lower level than you but don't look at those who stand at a higher level than you, for this would make the favours (conferred upon you by Allah) insignificant (in your eyes).(Sahih Muslim: Book #042, Hadith #7070)
The dearest words to Allah are four: SubhanAllah (Hallowed be Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), and AllahuAkbar (God is the Greatest)…
Sahih Muslim: Book 24, Number 5329.
Christ will never be proud to reject to be a slave to God .....holy Quran, chapter Women , 4: 172
Never be double faced:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "You see that the people are of different natures. Those who were the best in the pre-lslamic period, are also the best in Islam if they comprehend religious knowledge. You see that the best amongst the people in this respect (i.e. ambition of ruling) are those who hate it most. And you see that the worst among people is the double faced (person) who appears to these with one face and to the others with another face (i.e a hypocrite)." (Sahih Bukhari: Book #56, Hadith #699)
Don't listen to your sinful desire:
And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah ." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss.(4:119)
I agree that I sometimes hear my desires. We all should try to defeat shaytan by not listening to him. May Allah guide to the straight path.
Ameen
