Try to invite them one way or the other ..doesn't matter even if you guys go talk for 30 minutes somewhere having bite to eat.

This (feeding) is a very important message you can spread though if you cant do it yourselves ( its allowed only in the case of food http://legacy.quran.com/107/3in all other matters you have to practice before you preach because Allah hates the one who preaches but does not practices himself in a verse)

It is amazing how we in our normal day lives, for me personally at least, don't recognize the blessing of having food and water. The blessing of having food 24/7, while there are people who don't.
Eid feels weird, in the sense that, it is not like any other day.
May Allah enable us to recognize the blessings we take for granted. Ameen.

Eid Mubarak to all brothers and sisters. May Allah accept all efforts made during Ramadan and enable us to continue good deeds and worship and quran recitation afterwards as well, ameen. Ameen to all the duas above.
For those in the northern parts of the northern hemisphere, this is the last year that the longest day was in Ramadan until at least another 30 years or so. Hope those sitting exams coped well, and hope they pass with flying colours, ameen.
