I somehow have little shame. Am i doing something wrong? Is there any dua for modest / shame? I read that modest is part of faith. But I have little modesty....
Walkum salaam wa baraktu ,
What makes you think you have little shame? I guess if you slip up you keep repenting and keeping checking on yourself. Inshallah Allah will make it easy for ykh
Modesty is needed in certain situations and with certain people. In what context do you feel you are immodest?
In your words? in your character? in your mindset?
Pain and hardships allow you to grow spiritually Alhamdulilah so smile when a so called calamity befalls upon you.
Alhamdulilah Allah swt is the greatest.
The fact you feel bad is a good sign. Modesty is having good character and shyness. Shameless is commiting sins openly and doing all kinds of bad things and not caring about or even to the extent you are promoting it. Regarding lowering gaze, it's not the same as shameless. We all slip up, but keep trying and inshallah Allah help you

Its normal these days, you shouldn't worry too much about developing shame or you might become the lower hand.
Modesty is part of faith, it protects us from commiting more bad deeds, and also revealing our sins openly, right now, it is better to be modest even in immoral areas. May Allah grant us modesty ameen.
