Bismillaah:

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه relates:

A man passed by the Messenger of Allaah صلي الله عليه وسلم whilst he was sitting with some others, and said:

" As salaam ‘alaykum "

The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said, “[ He will have ] ten hasanaat [rewards].

Another man passed by and said:

" As salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaah "

The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said, “[ He will have] twenty hasanaat.”

Another man passed by and said:

" As salaam alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu "

The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said, “[ He will have] thirty hasanaat.”
