    Dua

    Report bad ads?

If Dua can change virtually everything in ones life , then what was the point of lohe mehfuz? And how much Dua might be sufficient to change ones life and steer it towards a desirable direction.

Not every dua gets answered... Many duas are waiting for us on Judgment Day. And it's not just dua, it's also our deeds and our decisions that can change everything.

Allah has written everything in the Lawhu Mahfuz, including your dua that changes everything.

I guess your next question would be - why making any dua if everything is written.

The thing is that we have our free will and there are many options for us in every single moment. All of the options are written and different outcomes of our moves as well. You may make a dua for something and you may not. There you have different outcomes. You may decide to eat now or later, again different outcomes. Hope you get it now.

    Dua

Don't rush your salat for anything, as you are standing in front of The One who is in charge of whatever you are rushing for!

the preserved tablet (Lohe Mahfooz) does not need to be changed because of the dua coming true.

Allah, as you know of course, is timeless. He can see your past, present and future at the same time. So He knows which choices you are going to make in the future, and which duas you are going to make etc. etc.
So that is why your dua does not affect what is written in the lohe mahfooz.

But beside that, your sustenance (Rizq) is written down for you. that is basically everything you WILL receive and CAN receive if you work hard, learn hard, pray, do zikr, make dua, etc.
    Dua can change that part.

I do not know the details about it, or whether that is also a part of the lohe mehfooz, but the point I wanted to make that one part of what is written, cannot be affected by dua, because of Allah

is All knowing, and All seeing....and other parts of the pre written CAN be affected by dua, because those are possible reachable achievements for you which you will receive if you meet certain conditions....like enough dua etc.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

    يَأْتِي الشَّيْطَانُ أَحَدَكُمْ فَيَقُولَ مَنْ خَلَقَ كَذَا وَكَذَا حَتَّى يَقُولَ لَهُ مَنْ خَلَقَ رَبَّكَ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ وَلْيَنْتَهِ

Satan will come to one of you and he will say, ‘Who created this and that?’ until he says to him, ‘Who created your Lord?’ When it comes to this, let him seek refuge in Allah and stop such thoughts.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3102, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi

In another narration, the Prophet (ṣ) said:

    فَلْيَقُلْ آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ

Let him say: I have faith in Allah.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 134, Grade: Sahih

We should not endulge a lot in something we do not know and which is hard to grasp, but instead focus more into knowledge we could benefit more, like learning duas, reciting dhikr, salawats, surah ikhlas, estegfar, reading Quran, giving charity, and so on, for which we have guaranteed rewards mashaAllah.
