Now I know there are some who love taking photos but are not avid photographers
So please, show us your beautiful photos!
Here are some photos from my front garden; the flowers are blooming because it's spring! These are from my mobile phones however some photographs are a bit blurry, so I apologise for that.
Here you go, the first one was taken outside my bedroom window...:
^^ Thanks!! I'm very lucky to live in a picturesque part of the world. Beautiful things are something I treasure and most certainly do not take for granted!

Prairie Dog town on the Cheyenne River Lakota Sioux Reservation. This is a very large colony of prairie dogs, possibly the largest in South Dakota. I is about 20 miles North to South and 10 miles East to West. They are shy little creatures, although called dogs they are a rodent and actually a type of ground squirrel. We pass through this area every time we cross the rez. Yesterday it was a nice clear day and a few were out sunning themselves. I am not going to give the exact location as too many people shoot them for "Sport" or target practice. This colony is not well known and not many people are aware of it except for the Native Americans on the rez. They respect wildlife and only hunt for food and don't shoot little critters for "Target Practice".

What a totally picturesque place!! And that duck has one very glossy head, lol...
^^ Lol, I think this is my favourite...ahhh, such an amazing green...
That's my favourite pic too. It's now on my desktop.
The reason that the green is so amazing is that the leaves are still quite young and fresh. In a couple of months the colours will have faded ...

Thank you for sharing these - you may just have inspired me to put get my running shoes out of the cupboard where they've been hiding for some time!!
Spring into summer is really special here, there's so much to see, hear and smell.
I just went for a walk down my road to feed the horses in a field not too far away, and caught the scent of hawthorne flowers, wild garlic and cut grass and it made my head spin with pleasure!
I hope the grey old bare winter stays away for as long as possible!

Karina, I seem to remember you live in a beautiful part of the country too.
There is just something very lovely about the English countryside!
I actually live in a small town ... but just a 5-mile-roundtrip takes me to so many different sceneries. That's what I love about it!
And yes, get those running shoes out - before that summer sun gets too hot!
Peace glo

Where I live is really nowhere special at all, NIKKY.
I am sure where you live are very beautiful corners too - you just need to look for them! (Sometimes away from where everybody else goes)

Autumn has its own attraction, though . I only wish the leaves would stay on the trees a little longer, lol...
I remember going on holiday to Vermont, aeons ago...the fall colours there are so rich, it's spectacular...and lol, when you see them, it's hard to imagine the leaves ever falling...
We have this cherry blossom tree (well, I think it's a cherry blossom tree) in our front yard - I don't often go much further for nature ...The blossoms are gone, and it's all green now, but here are a couple of photos from early April:
Aaah, is it at all possible to make these smaller??
