US/British/German police work in pairs, and Pakistani police work in fours - a show of true brotherhood. Sharing one umbrella and one newspaper amongst four is a heart-wrenching sight.

pakistani police do beat people quite alot ive heard, ive seen them but never been beaten by them lol

if you can read urdu, you should read novels by Ahmed Yaar Khan, Brilliant true life accounts of cases he work on during his time in the pakistani police force.. the methods of investigation, torture and interrogation all wonderfully detailed :D
