Imaams of the Haramain - Part IX

Assalaamu alaikum all,

I am new to this forum. Alhamdulillah I love it:) I have been reading it for a while now but have never felt the need to post until now. And that is only because there is something being said about a couple of people, namely two imaams.

I just read brotherubaids post and had no idea what it was about and looked it up on the net, because when we hear any news, we should verify it.

From what I've seen, it is a very sad state of affairs, when a person no longer has his job due to speaking out against what is wrong, and then his speaking out against wrong, is spoken against in Masjidul Haram.

I feel sad. I never thought I would see such a day :(

I am sure the university does lots of good work, and the King's establishment of it is great - but what is wrong, is wrong.

Please forgive me if I have said anything wrong.

May Allah guide us all, and forgive me my shortcomings.

Assalaamu alaikum

AssalaM O Alikum wa Rahmatul Lahi wa Barakatuh

AlhumdoLILLAH sheikh Salih Aal talib did a very important and beautiful Khutbah. May Allah reward him , please guys check it out , very important issues.

What happend a couple of weeks ago in saudi with the sacking of Sheikh Saad Al Shetri was sad but InshahAllah for the better , Sheikh Sudais may Allah protect him did a khutbah praising the University with no evidence at all , he did not back what he said with any sort of reference or evidence and made people even more disappointed. Yes a science and research university is good and InshahAllah good will come out of it , But we as muslim have certain boundaries , certain Hudood that we have to maintain , AlhumdolILLAH our religion does not stop us at all from seeking knowledge rather it appreciates it , but we have to do it in the proper manner.

All i could think of past few weeks was that Allah had blessed this land and its rulers coz they stood up for tawheed n sunnah , and their great great grandfather King Saud was blessed by Allah only coz he stood up for tawheed and fought for its cause and to eliminate the Shirk n innovations present and Him n Muhammad bin Abdul wahab revived the Tawheed n sunnah and i personaly belive that what ever they have untill this day is a reward from Allah for their struggle n efforts for Establishing tawheed n rooting out shirk completely n innovations and fightin agaisnt it.

Just like when first Muhamad Bin Abdul Wahab met with Saud and explained his Dawah to him , at the time he Saud used to take an illegal type of tax from his people which was unislamic , so saud asked The sheikh before joining with him in his mission if he would stop him from taking this tax to which Muhamad bin abdul wahab replied " If u stood up for tawheed Allah will give u so much that u wont even have to take that tax from the people , Allah will replace it with wealth and rule and all type of good and SubhanAllah thats exactly what happened , Allah gave him n his family the kingdom , the rule , the authroty , and lots n lots of good , money , even oil .

What im trying to say is that they have to realise the what ever they have is from Allah first of All and for what their forefathers did n they are doing as well for tawheed n sunnah and ordering the good and forbidding the evil and if they lose this they just might lose the blessings of Allah that HE has blessed on them.

May Allah protect the Khadim Al Haraim al sharifein , may Allah reward him for his good efforst , may Allah accept from him his good deeds n look over his shortcommings and may Allah guide him to what HE subhanhu wa taala loves and to the straight path and make him stead fast n God Fearing, and May Allah protect the land of tawheed from its enemies , from outside n within , may Allah save us all from their evils and May Allah reward the Imams of haramain , the scholars n the students of knowledge.

And Allah knows best , do check the Khutbah by Sheikh Aal Talib out it was amazing. I congratulate the sheikh n may Allah protect him n reward him.

AssalM O Alikum

Masha Allaah akhi indeed Imaam Al Barbahaari said in his sharh us Sunnah "if you see someone cursing and swearing at the ruler then know he is a person of desire..and if you someone making Dua for the ruler then know he is a person of Sunnah Insha Allah"

Yes it was, Subhanallah

Ameeeeeeeeen

EDIT: I just checked haramainrecordings now and it seems like Sheikh Budair and Sheikh Juhany both recited Sura Nooh in Fajr this morning. I think it's because it mentions the verses of Istigfaar and rain.

Beautiful and very emotional khutbah by His Eminence Sheikh Su'ud As-Shuraim:cry::cry:. I have not seen him this emotional in a while. What touched my heart was when the guard kissed Sheikh Shuraim after the khutbah:cry:,when they were shaking hands with the Saud family.

Yes indeed , this is the way o fthe people of Sunnah and jamaaah , Its the way of our pious precedors , We have to make dua for them and the Scholars have to in private and with lots of wisdom give advise to the rulers , And if the scholars do that , i mean give advise to the ruler they have indeed did their duty regadless of if the ruler accepts the advise or not , the scholars duty is to give the advise as in the hadeeth.

As for people like me and the general ummah they have to make dua for the rulers , and change their self , coz most of what has befallen them is not coz of what the rulers are doin its coz of their own deeds , and there is much evidence of that first from teh quran and then from the authentric sunnah

And Allah knows best

and may Allah reward you brother and make us stead fast on Tawheed n sunnah.

Ameen to the dua of "Insane Insaan" lol I almost feel guilty calling u that bro but hey!? thats ur name on the forum ! May Allah reward you.

May Allah reward sheikh shuraim and accept from him , may Allah protect him , Beautiful salah he led and very emotional Khutbah , May Allah make our hearts soft and pure , May Allah guide us and forgive us all. I was driving to college while listening to it on radio.

Assalam O alikum

Assalam O Alikum

Assalaamu alaikum,

You have summed it up perfectly brother.

I hope I did not come across as criticising anyone in my first post, as that's not what I meant to do. I appreciate that that any scholar's or imam's job is hard, and making du'aa for someone and rectifying our own shortcomings should be first and foremost.

Assalaamu alaikum.

Yh subhanAllah.

sheikh maher recited that verse in surah araaf today maghrib the ayah talking about how Allah has the commandments. It was also lightening and thundering very much. They stood in taraweeh spot today maghrib it was very nice mashAllah.

I wonder who will be doing the jummah khutbah tommorrow inshallah I'm guessing that sheikh budayr in madinah inshallah and sheikh sudais in makkah.

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah

Sheikh al-Huthayfi did jumuah in Madinah al-Munawwarah and Sheikh Usama ibn Abdullah Khayyat in al Haram al Makki.
