maybe he really is banned,how do we know?
or hes not well....
or hes on vacation,but where?waznt he on holiday 4 a few days after ramadaan?

sis that was for a few days, after such a hectic month involving ramadhan, leading taraweeh after fasting, after taraweeh leading tahajjud and some daily prayers, plus some jummahs, plus family life, plus work, plus study
it can be a lot of hard work and stress mentally

People calm down - allhumdolillah Shaykh Shuraim is well and has not been banned etc - he will be back soon inshallah. So please excercise sabr inshallah all the imams great and should be respected.

Whoever does the khutba the purpose is to listen to what the imam is saying and implement what has been said into your lives so we can be better muslims.

^^Sorry no experiences lately, bro have been in Riyadh all week - just briefly met the Grand Mufti today after Jumma salah.

He did a brilliant detailed khutba on death - really put things into perspective!

Annnnd...if Sheikh Shuraim doesn't do a khutbah during the peak season, that doesn't completely mean he is banned. He could possibly have other reasons. Remember, they aren't only Haram imaams. They do other work also and have families to take care off. And even if he doesn't have other work or family to take care off, he doesn't need a break ya know. :-\ :smile:

InshaAllah he wouldn't be banned...and if he is...then Abdullah Saood will notify us and we'll go in fronta the King's palace and make him regret banning sheikh Shuraim. :mad: :shade:
