I will keep him in my du'aa insha Allah, Insha Allah he will return to Allah with no sin on him

Ameen, will do sis... But truth be known, Ersin has more sabr than anyone I know. He's just such a wonderful person, so caring and loving, and always willing to help. Always. He's got time for everyone and is like our uncle in our MSN group. Very funny too, his humour will tickle you inside and make you giggle. And when he is serious, it is always for a very good reason... Masha-Allah he is a joy to be speaking with and a pleasant breath of fresh air - I just wish everyone knew him ... Masha-Allah.

Thank you sis, I appreciate your post. May Allah reward you and keep you in HIS good grace, in this world and the next. Ameen.

Ameen, thanks bro. May Allah also reward you and everyone whose keeping this bro in their duas. Please convey my salams to brother Ersin and tell him we are all praying for him.

Insha Allah I will make dua as well. May Allah SWT help him and bless him and show mercy on him. Ameen

:sl:

How is Ersin now bro? Is there any improvement in his condition insha Allah? Subhan Allah, we think of a paralyzed person as severely disabled but if they are patient like Ersin, they are the ones who are running to paradise while the able bodied like us could be stumbling. Subhan Allah. Only good comes from Allah

I spoke to him yesterday, he came online later than usual. Ersin was sleeping all that time. Since I have known him, he has always been the first one to be get in the MSn group - before everyone else... but recently, he has been complaining of tiredness. And therefore, been taking more breaks. And now with this breathing difficulty and the need for specialised breathing equipment... well you can imagine.

However, he was in a good mood and he asked me to let everyone know that he really appreciates your duas.

I really appreciate the duas for him too.

I heard somewhere that when a Muslim makes a dua for another Muslim, 70'000 angels make the same dua for the one who makes the dua. How merciful is our Allah, Allahu Akbar.

Thank you sister Dying Rose, may Allah forever keep you in HIS good graces, both, in this world and the next, Ameen.

KEEP THE DUAS COMING PEEPS

Jazak Allah khayr too brother Scimi. Yes al hamdulillah, I've been praying for brother Ersin. My tears came out, and that rarely happens when I pray for myself akhi. Allah loves some people so much that He makes a place in people's hearts for them. Brother Ersin is one of those people. I cannot imagine what he is going through. Breathing difficulties.. subhan Allah. How precious one breath is we don't realize until we have to struggle to take it. O Allah the Merciful, The Kind and the Loving.. You are the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth. You Alone we worship and You Alone we ask for help. There is no Power or Might except Yours. You alone are the Healer. You alone are The Reliever. O Allah, please relieve the distress and suffering of our dear brother Ersin, and the distress and suffering of all those who have been inflicted with sickness and disease, and grant them shifa and good health and beautiful patience. Ameen ya Rabbil aalameen.

Greetings and peace be with you bro Scimitar;

Ersin has more sabr than anyone I know. He's just such a wonderful person, so caring and loving, and always willing to help. Always. He's got time for everyone and is like our uncle in our MSN group. Ersin is in my prayers, it seems that Allah has touched the hearts of many people through Ersin. We see people with huge disabilities, and they are remarkable people, Allah helps them in ways that we do not comprehend or understand

We pray in our way; and Allah answers in his way, we pray for things we want on this Earth, but they may not be the things that help us attain eternal salvation. Here is an Islamic prayer that helps me to understand a little.

I asked for Strength.........
And Allah gave me Difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for Wisdom.........
And Allah gave me Problems to solve.
I asked for Prosperity.........
And Allah gave me Brain and Brawn to work.
I asked for Courage.........
And Allah gave me Danger to overcome.
I asked for Love.........
And Allah gave me Troubled people to help.
I asked for Favours.........
And Allah gave me Opportunities.

I received nothing I wanted
I received everything I needed
My Prayer has been answered.

Blessings

Eric

Barak Allahu feek. I was crying as well bro. I was thinking of Ersin and of others who are sick - especially our brothers and sisters in the conflict zones who are without the medical help they need. I can't even begin to imagine the extent of their suffering. May Allah send them His help and mercy, and destroy the enemies of Islam. Ameen. Asking Allah to have mercy on all the muslimeen should be an essential part of our duaas. We should never forget them in their suffering. This thread has made me cry a lot.

They do not do injustice to others nor do they tolerate any injustice to themselves. In their love and concern for each other, all members of this Brotherhood are one body: when any part of the body suffers, the whole body feels the pain [Sahih Muslim]

I heard somewhere that when a Muslim makes a dua for another Muslim, 70'000 angels make the same dua for the one who makes the dua. How merciful is our Allah, Allahu Akbar.

Accordance with the hadith where the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said,“The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Everytime he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: `Ameen! May it be for you, too’.” [Muslim].

:) thank you for the clarification sister.

May Allah reward you for your efforts and forever surround you with angels that carry your prayers directly to HE who holds our lives in HIS hands. Ameen.

Ameen Jazakallahu khyran for the beautiful doaa, respected brother.May Allah SWT bless you the same.Ameen.

In our everyday lives, we often encounter handicapped people. Whether we stop to chat with them or not, many of us find ourselves thanking God for creating us free of disabilities while simultaneously uttering a prayer for them.
Interestingly enough though, whereas we may consider such people disadvantaged, there is very little evidence in the Qur’an or the traditions of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that Islam views them in a similar fashion. For instance, the Qur’an contains hardly any direct reference to disabled people except in the context of jihad: “Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled, and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives.” (4:95)
In another place, when God rebukes the Prophet, pbuh, in Surah Abasa (Ch. 80) on account of his behavior toward Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum, He does not dwell on the latter’s disability except to refer to him as the “blind man.” In other words, the Prophet is not being admonished on his insensitivity towards a handicapped person, but rather on his negligence of someone who came to him to learn.

The Prophet’s behavior toward disabled people is an example par excellence for us. In addition to greeting Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum with respect and humility, the Prophet, pbuh, designated him as the Leader of Madinah many times in his own absence. As far as the Prophet was concerned, Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum’s blindness was not a hindrance in his ability to carry out his duties.

Similarly, the case of Julaybib, another companion of the Prophet, is instructive. He was thus known because of his diminutive figure. He was also described as being deformed or revolting in appearance. While many people in Madinah had made him an outcast, the Prophet, pbuh, instead approached a family to give their beautiful daughter as a bride for Julaybib. As may be expected, the parents were blinded by his apparent handicaps – yet their daughter surrendered herself to the will of the Prophet, pbuh.

These examples are important because they show that even though the Prophet, pbuh, was sensitive to their particular circumstances, he did not consider these to be things which should stand in their way of leading normal lives. Rather, he was intent upon focusing on their inner beauty and amorphous souls – just as he did with all of his companions.

Therefore, putting aside our own prejudices and assumptions, we must recognize that disability in and of itself is not necessarily a hindrance or disadvantage. No doubt, it causes the afflicted person far more difficulty than someone who is not in his/her position. This is all the more reason why we should make extra efforts to provide facilitation to our brothers and sisters by ensuring not only their physical comfort through appropriate measures but their mental and emotional ease as well. The latter can only be accomplished if we view them beyond their physical state, just as the Prophet, pbuh, did.
After all, God has promised us that our lives are a test for us. Degrees and forms of our trials vary from person to person, even family to family. However, it is up to us to have fortitude, accept our fate, and then actively work to make the best out of them. Indeed, God has promised us that “with every hardship there is relief,” (94:5) and that “no person shall have a burden laid on him greater than he can bear” (2:286).

In general, handicapped people face the challenge of normalizing their lives with patience, strength and courage. Many of them accomplish this with such flair that they no longer see themselves as “different.” May God facilitate them in their adversity and enable others of us to become a supportive force for them.Ameen

^Ameen Ya Rabb. Such times are trying for those left behind. But the greater the loss the higher the reward in it's patience. Subhan Allah. Allah is the Most Kind and Most Loving

I was wanting to ask how our brother is today? Hope he is feeling much better insha Allah.

MASHA-ALLAH, lovely post sister Dying Rose. How very true.

I spoke to him yesterday and discovered that he is on specialised breathing equipment when he goes to sleep now. he's in the MSN group at the moment, but his status is set to busy... however, knowing Ersin, he is a strong character and will always be smiling, making us all feel good, and talking about the beauty of Islam. He is in good spirits :)

I will keep you updated of any changes in his condition, be they good ones or not so good ones, insha-Allah.

Sis Dying Rose, thank you for asking :)

May Allah give you the best of this world and the next, forgive you your sins and increase you in good deeds, and give you the highest garden in the highest heaven, Ameen.
