assalamu alaikum wr wb, I speak light conversational arabic as well as read, write and understand a small portion as I have studied arabic up to the pre- intermediate level at my university here in New Zealand.(unfortunately there are not enough students to take the class to a higher level) however I would like to participate more-or-less as a spectator in an effort to learn more for the sake of allah. Keep up the good work!!!:brother:

I'm a lebanese arab living in North America, and as much arabic schools I've been to and even though I go to the masjid everyday (since I go to an islamic high school) I still dont know how to read arabic as well and as fast as some of the hafiz students that dont even understand what they read. I can read, but at a slow pace. And my writing looks like it's a ten year old's. But all the arabic classes paid off because I can pretty much understand most words and I'm pretty good at the Lebanese slang. (even if it's useless)

:sl:
I can read arabic but i dnt understand some of the meaning of the words...as a lil kid i was taught how to read and write in arabic but never paid attention to it at all,,whenever i think abt it makes me feel bad,,i wish i knew what i know now..:(:(:(
