WOW - WHAT A JOURNEY​

Thank you to all who commented on the stories, We are now in the closing stage of this Writing Competition, SubhanAllah, what a great exercise in writing, reading and commenting on the work our own members have done.

Honestly speaking, I've not come across a forum on the webs as passionate about improving their skills as this one. So, hats off you all, the Writers of the Stories, the Voters, The Commenters, Critics and the Encouragers and Cajolers.

Should we extend the deadline once again until Sunday? We might get a few votes during the weekend.
 
Sunday is ok - only 13 votes till now. But people have had already a lot of time to read entries and vote. Are they any more interesting to vote if they haven´t done it before?

Maybe is better if I do not post feedback until the contest getting closed, since my feedback may influence the readers decision in voting the best story?.

As an entrant, I would value your feedback even before the contest closes. I think influence is irrelevant as readers must ultimately decide for themselves. :)
 
I could write an in depth review of two stories which really resonated with me most.

And I will. in sha Allah.

Brother, most of us are using the forum on a PC or Laptop. The web address is https://www.islamicboard.com/

It is difficult to type long passages on a mobile device using tapatalk or the IB app.

Some people just want to eat, while their stomachs churn.

Others cannot walk arthritis in the knee due obesity.

Allah works mysteriously, we are His subjects.

I request brother Scimitar to withhold the author's name for the poem "Emotional Abyss". :ia: we will have a poetry contest at some other time of the year, most probably in June/July and the same entry can be used there. It doesn't seem appropriate to judge the poem along with the stories here.
