Hey dont get me wrong....av course i bliv in jinnz ,,,cant be 100% muslim if you dont bliv in jinnz...

Av had 1st hand experience in jinn, some1 tryed to get me involved in it,,,to speak to one...

i have heard soo many stories about people being supressed by jinn etc & most of the time it just mental problem etc..

Some people are just tooo superstitious,,

The Guy or girl could be on crack....could be turkin for it, so he or she starts doing funny stuff , but the parent will be too proude to bliv ther child could ever do drug'ss etc,,,, so hey presto its a jinn..!! lol

Let me ask you sommit? why is it just muslims that get possessed..? do u ever hear about a non muslim get possessed by a jinn or sommit in comparison to muslims...

i heard a story once that this one person had 6000 or 60.000 jinnns under his control...but he could not control his own son....lol

its just some peole take it to extrem lengths & make money from it..

its not only muslims who get possessed...non muslims get possessed too...there hav been many cases but since non muslims dont believe in jinns they would probly label them as being mentally disturbed e.g. they might think those possessed by jinn hav multiple personality disorder and they get admitted to hospital and thats why we dont get to hear abt it cos we havnt seen the person so we cant judge for ourselves...we just hav the other persons word to go by and if some1 says this person is mentally disturbed we wont question it.....we havnt heard of non muslims being possessed cos they dont believe in jinns so therefore would not mention the word 'jinn' so hw we gonna hear of it?

i do get ur point though that yes it could b a mental disorder or drugs but believe me the symptoms of those on drugs or havin a mental disorder r mild compared to being possessed...its not that difficult to distinguish btw possession and mental disorder....u just hav to read surah bakra near some1 possessed and u can find out...:okay:

its just as likely to b a jinn as it cud b someone disturbed...so pls dont make a joke out of it...it cud b that the person who started this thread really does hav a cousin possessed...if u think there could b another reason why the cousin is acting this way then there is a polite way of saying so that will help her to understand.....u dont have to go targeting peoples gender and ethnic group:rollseyes

non muslims do get possessed...we don't call them jinns though..they are demons..fallen angels we believe a 1/3rd of all angels fell with Satan..when God cast them out of heaven, for rebelling against him. The bible tells us this...
These same demons are still on the earths plane, the same ones that Jesus cast out of people..though we can't see them...since they fell there has been spiritual warfare going on...though most people do not realise this.

Has for mental illness's ...I would say almost 100% are because of evil demons.

And whatever creature that is in the heavens and that is in the earth makes obeisance to Allah (only), and the angels (too) and they do not show pride.

They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded.

It depends what ethnic origin is your cousin?, when someone dies and you cremate them you can tame the soul by using the largest bone in their body, if you cruss the bone and feed it to someone then the soul also enjoins the new host And would welcome the opportunity of having a new body. A mental disorder does occur this is when the mind doesn’t realise which soul is influencing it because there are 2 at the same time in one body. I know of places but not muslims and certainly not in manchester. You have to remember their is a great scar that remains with a posessed person if and when they are healed because for so many years the person has not known themselves, when they finally rekindle with their own divine essence they are engulfed with a feeling which is alien to them this is a scary part in that persons life. If the thing inside is male then it will most likely be irritable with a women and vicaversa with females, molestation and suffocation, and days when youre just a zombie are frequent. Finally when you do fins a way to release the soul the soul will already know and may start crying so you give sympathy. NEVER abuse the body of the victim by hitting etc cos that never works it just damages the person even more. REMEMBER to ask for a name of the one who did it their is always a ringleader.

Correct me if am in wrong bro but Satan(iblis) was a an angle, he was cast out of janna because he did not obay Allah, when Allah asked him to prostrate befor Adam (as).
 
No brother that is wrong, read surat al Kahf, ayah 50 i think. It says that iblis was from among the jinns. He was o nly present with the angels.

Iblees was never an Angel, as Angels can never disobey Allah, rather he (Iblees) was a Jinn. This Idea that he was an Angel is a christian belief not a muslim one. Yes he was in the company of the Angels but that did not make him an Angel.

[Yusufali 18:50] Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!

For example,i didnt like studying (when i was in highschool),i used to go out with my mates instead of going to class,i got involved in alot of haram activity back in those days.

When my parents found out,they took me to a man who claimed i was possessed by a Jinn. :heated: he even gave him a name .. "Ibn Ali" ;D

So i played along,because it got me out of trouble...

..but a couple of years later,i came clean,i told my parents that i wasnt possesed,and that guy is a scam artist.

If you think someone is possessed,read the quran infront of them.

If they dont start screaming and shouting,...they are full of it.

Full of what?

About a month ago,i asked dozens of Muslims "was satan an angel?" and only 1 person said "No,he was a jinn"

Thats exactly why i say to all muslims (yes - even the ones on this forum) ,Learn your religon properly before you start mocking Christians and the bible.Allah swt wont reward you for mocking people,but he will reward you for seeking knowledge and sharing it.

could u pls explain how can we recognize that the person is being possess by a jinn...

i have a friend... she always like in 'convulsions'(but not really, she sometimes talk nonsense or running away or try to take off the clothes and etc) like being attack. But then...a few minutes after that she is conscious and cannot remember anything that happened to her.

she get it very often sometimes more than 6 times a day...

but she is being treated as someone with mental illness (at the hospital).

and another thing jinns are not all bad ,,,,how comes we hardley every hear of a good jinn posseing some1..

av heard good jinns make people pray regulay etc,, n if you dont u get a good beating lol
 
Yeah, i was debating with my friend about whether or not iblis was a jinn, and this christian girl jumped into the debate and started agreeing with my friend. It was so embarrassing... I just got the ayah out for her, but both of them didn't believe me even after that. Was weird.

yeah non-muslims alos get possessed but they call it 'menatl illnesses' and just lock em away cos the docs don't know what's wrong with them.

I will have to agree aswell. Not only though amongst the asian sub continant, people find supernatural things interesting and the jinns are the cream of it all.

There are alot of stories people have heared etc, hence the truth has been mixed with the truth. How many of you have heared a person say to you "I have a cousin who..." instead of "Rasululah told us..." or "Allah said..."

Putting aside the fact that it was evil and immature of you :brother: there are alot of people around that try to dissprove the scholars, there was this man who played along and seemed like he was possessed, If you and me had seen him we would have certainly said he was possessed, but the Shaykh took one glance and said he wasnt, later on the man came clean and the shaykh was right.

This is not to say that there are alot of people who dont know what their doing, and this is a very dangerous thing, because if the person really is possessed the Jinn sometimes goes over to possess the other person and this is very common, in order to show the foolishness of the other person.

Go to a scholar and enquiry about it, it could be a Jinn and it could not be a Jinn. We should be careful and not label anything "unusual" the act of a Jinn

I don't know where you get your information from...but it is wrong..many Christians know about demon possession.
