At last the final Lesson:

http://media.putfile.com/ahlan_wa_sahlan_lesson_30

The putfile links that are posted will be available indefinetly as long as each one is viewed at least once every 6 months.

The downloadable links that I am starting(lesson one was already posted) are on my yousendit host. They only stay up for 14 days or 100 downloads, whichever comes first. I will be posting them a few per day, along with the latest date each is good until.

I am still searching for a host that I can store them indeffinetly on in a downloadable format.

Please view the putfile links before downloading the downloads here. Be certain you want to have it taking up space on your HD. The putfile links will be there indefinetly. Remember, a work book originaly came with the course. The course can still be usefull without the book. A suggestion on the written questions. Try to write out the answers in a transliteration of your own alphabet, if you do not know the Arabic alphabet. The definitions of all the Arabic words are covered on the various audios, listen carefully. Hopefully you will find this short course to pick up a fair understanding of day to day conversational Arabic, and be helpfull in understanding the Qur'anic Arabic. I am repeating the download link for lesson one here to keep every thing close to the same place.

Here are the first 3 lessons for downloading. The links will end on June 12 or when 100 downloads are completed on each one.

I'll agree it would be much better with the book. Sadly, I never had the book. I'm not too certain as to where I got it from originaly, but it is an older course and had become public domain, the book wasn't with it.

Which form of Arabic would you suggest learning?

When I was in school my Spanish was taught from the Cuban dialect. I found that it was much different than the dialect used by Mexicans. Being that I'll have little communication with Cubans, but daily communication with Mexicans, I wish that I hadn't learned Spanish via a Cuban.

What would people suggest for a person living in the USA? Which Arabic dialect would be most beneficial?
