Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated by Aishah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said (to me): “You were shown to me in a dream. An angel brought you to me, wrapped in a piece of silken cloth, and said to me: ‘This is your wife.’ I removed the piece of cloth from your face, and there you were. I said to myself: ‘If it is from Allah, then it will surely be accomplished.’”

Hind bint 'Utba (Abu Sufyan's wife) came and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Abu Sufyan is a miser. Is there any harm if I spend something from his property for our children?"
He (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, there is no harm for you if you feed them from it justly and reasonably (with no extravagance)."

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
I was the butler of the people in the house of Abu Talha, and in those days drinks were prepared from dates. Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) ordered somebody to announce that alcoholic drinks had been prohibited. Abu Talha ordered me to go out and spill the wine. I went out and spilled it, and it flowed in the streets of Medina. Some people said, "Some people were killed and wine was still in their stomachs." On that the Divine revelation came:-- "On those who believe And do good deeds There is no blame For what they ate (in the past)." (5.93)

Hakim bin Hizam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Both parties in a business transaction have a right to annul it so long as they have not separated; and if they tell the truth and make everything clear to each other (i.e., the seller and the buyer speak the truth, the seller with regard to what is purchased, and the buyer with regard to the money) they will be blessed in their transaction, but if they conceal anything and lie, the blessing on their transaction will be eliminated.”

Reported by Harithah bin Wahab (RA): Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Shall I not inform you about the inmates of Hell? It is every violent, impertinent and proud person.”

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Beware! Avoid sitting on he roads (ways)." The people said, "There is no way out of it as these are our sitting places where we have talks." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If you must sit there, then observe the rights of the way." They asked, "What are the rights of the way?"
He said, "They are the lowering of your gazes (on seeing what is illegal to look at), refraining from harming people, returning greetings, advocating good and forbidding evil."

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Masood (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, “On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood”.
Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Ruined are those who insist on hardship in matters of the Faith.” He repeated this three times.

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "When an adulterer commits illegal sexual intercourse, then he is not a believer at the time he is doing it, and when a drinker of an alcoholic liquor drinks it, then he is not a believer at the time of drinking it, and when a thief steals, then he is not a believer at the time of stealing, and when a robber robs, and the people look at him, then he is not a believer at the time of doing robbery."

Reported by Ibn `Abbas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He who visits a sick person who is not on the point of death and supplicates seven times: As’alullahal-`Azima Rabbal-`Arshil-`Azimi, an yashfiyaka (I beseech Allah the Great, the Rubb of the Great Throne, to heal you), Allah will certainly heal him from that sickness.”

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) entered Makkah and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Ka'ba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: "Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished."

I asked the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), "What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and to fight for His Cause." I then asked, "What is the best kind of manumission (of slaves)?" He replied, "The manumission of the most expensive slave and the most beloved by his master."
I said, "If I cannot afford to do that?" He said, "Help the weak or do good for a person who cannot work for himself."
I said, "If I cannot do that?" He said, "Refrain from harming others for this will be regarded as a charitable deed for your own good."

Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The (reward of) deeds depend on intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he intends. So, whoever migrated for Allah and His Apostle, then his migration will be for Allah and His Apostle, and whoever migrated for worldly benefits or for marrying a woman, then his migration will be for what he migrated for." Reported by Qabisah bin Al-Mukhariq (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying, “The practice of ‘Iyafah, the interpretation of omens from the flight of birds, the practice of divination by drawing lines on the ground and taking evil omens are all practices of Al-Jibt (the idol, the diviner, or sorcerer).”

Reported by Abu Hurairah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “A person who acquires (religious) knowledge, which is (normally) acquired to gain the Pleasure of Allah, (for the sole reason) to secure worldly comforts will not even smell the fragrance of Jannah on the Day of Resurrection (i.e., will not enter Jannah).”
