Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Allah's Apostle! I may not attend the (compulsory congregational)prayer
because so and so (the Imam) prolongs the prayer when he leads us for it.
The narrator added: "I never saw the Prophet more furious in giving advice
than he was on that day. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said,
"O people! Some of you make others dislike good deeds (the prayers). So
whoever leads the people in prayer should shorten it because among them
there are the sick the weak and the needy (having some jobs to do)."

Abdullah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever has a mustard seed's weight of pride (arrogance) in his heart, shall not be admitted into Paradise. And whoever has a mustard seed's weight of faith in his heart, shall not be admitted into the Fire."
Abdullah bin Mas'ud (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:"Abide by truthfulness. For indeed truthfulness leads to righteousness. And indeed righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues telling the truth and trying hard to tell the truth until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person. Refrain from falsehood. For indeed falsehood leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. A slave (of Allah) continues lying and trying hard to lie, until he is recorded with Allah as a liar."

What is Hadath?" I replied, "It is the passing of wind (from the anus)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Once the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), while passing through one
of the grave-yards of Medina or Makkah heard the voices of two persons who
were being tortured in their graves. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) said, "These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin (to
avoid)."
The Prophet then added, "Yes! (they are being tortured for a major
sin). Indeed, one of them never saved himself from being soiled with his
urine while the other used to go about with calumnies (to make enmity
between friends).
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) then asked for
a green leaf of a date-palm tree, broke it into two pieces and put one on
each grave. On being asked why he had done so, he replied, "I hope that
their torture might be lessened, till these get dried."
