(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,

(When the Verse ‘Adopt forgiveness, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant’ was revealed,)
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) asked Jibril (‘alayhis salam), ‘What does this [refer to]?’ Jibril (‘alayhis salam) said, ‘I do not know, I will ask [Allah]. Jibril (‘alayhis salam) then came to Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and said, O Muhammad! Allah Ta’ala is commanding you [i.e. the explanation of the verse is] to forgive those who oppress you, give those who deprive you and join ties with those who sever ties with you”

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The Prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.”

‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas narrates: Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Nations were displayed before me, one or two prophets would pass by along with a few followers. A prophet would pass by accompanied by nobody. Then a big crowd of people passed in front of me and I asked, “Who are they? Are they my followers?” It was said, “No. It is Musa (alayhis salam) and his followers. It was said to me, “Look at the horizon.” Behold! There was a multitude of people filling the horizon.
Then it was said to me, “Look there and there about the stretching sky! Behold! There was a multitude filling the horizon,” It was said to me, “This is your nation out of whom 70,000 shall enter Jannah without reckoning.” Then the Prophet entered his house without telling his companions who they were.
So the people started talking about the issue and said, “It is we who have believed in Allah and followed His Apostle, therefore those people are either ourselves or our children who are born m the Islamic era, for we were born in the Pre-lslamic Period of Ignorance.” When Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) heard of that, he came out and said,
“Those people are those who do not treat themselves with Ruqya, nor do they believe in bad or good omen [from birds etc] nor do they get themselves branded [cauterized] but they put their trust [only] in their Lord ” On that ‘Ukkashah ibn Mihsan said. “Am I one of them, O Rasulallah?” Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Yes.” Then another person got up and said, “Am I one of them?” Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘Ukkashah has preceded you.”
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Your (ordinary) fire is one of 70 parts of the (Hell) Fire." Someone asked, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) This (ordinary) fire would have been sufficient (to torture the unbelievers)," Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "The (Hell) Fire has 69 parts more than the ordinary (worldly) fire, each part is as hot as this (worldly) fire."
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) is reported to have said,
“Who is it that will take these laws from me and acts upon them or teach them to such a person that will act upon them?”
I replied, “I will do so.”
Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) held my hand and counted five things. He said,
“1. Protect yourself from those things which Allah Ta’ala has made Haram, if you abstain from Haram then you will be counted amongst the greatest of worshippers.
2. Be pleased and happy upon those things which Allah Ta’ala has decreed for you, for then you will be counted amongst the wealthy people of the world.
3. Be kind to your neighbours for then you will be a perfect believer.
4. Love for others that which you love for yourself. By doing so, you will be a perfect Muslim.
5. Abstain from excessive laughter as excessive laughter causes the heart to die.
Sunan Tirmidhi (Hadith: 2305) and Musnad Ahmad, vol.2 pg.310
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "If any one of you improve (follows strictly) his Islamic religion then his good deeds will be rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and a bad deed will be recorded as it is."
Sayyiduna ‘Umar ibn Al Khattab (radiyallahu ‘anhu) once saw Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) pulling his tongue. ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) asked: ‘O Khalifah of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)! What are you doing? He said: ‘Indeed this tongue has brought me to destruction. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “There is no part of the body, except that it complains to the tongue of its sharpness [for its speaking evil].”
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas (RA): That Abu Sufyan (RA) told him that Heraclius said to him, "I asked you about the outcome of your battles with him (i.e. the Prophet (peace be upon him) and you told me that you fought each other with alternate success. So the Apostles are tested in this way but the ultimate victory is always theirs.
Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu’anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said that when one remembers Allah (i.e. takes the name of Allah) upon entering his house, Shaytan announces (to his fellow Shayatin) ‘There is no place of residence for you in this house.’ (Sahih Muslim)

Narrated Anas bin Malik (Radi-Allahu 'anhu) once the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) entered the Masjid and sawa rope hanging in between its two pillars. He said, "What is this rope?"The people said, "This rope is for Zainab who, when she feels tired, holdsit (to keep standing for the prayer.)"
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi WaSallam) said, "Don't use it. Remove the rope. You should pray as long asyou feel active, and when you get tired, sit down."

The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The intelligent one is he who subdues his lower self and works for what comes after death, and the fool is he who puts his lower self in pursuit of its desires and has vain hopes about Allah”
Abd Shuraib al-Adawi (RA) reported: My ears listened and my eye saw when Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) spoke and said: He who believes In Allah and the hereafter should show respect to the guest even with utmost kindness and courtesy. They said: Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), what is this utmost kindness and courtesy? He replied: It is for a day and a night. Hospitality extends for three days, and what is beyond that is a Sadaqa for him; and he who believes in Allah and the Hereafter should say something good or keep quiet.
