Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “As I entered Paradise I heard a recitation of the Quran in it. So I asked, ‘Who is this?’ They said, ‘This is Haaritha ibne Numaan. This is the compensation of those who do good to parents. This is the reward of those who are courteous to parents.’’’ [Mishkaat]
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Maintain your chastity and refrain from other people’s wives, your wives will remain chaste. And observe good behaviour towards your fathers, your sons will observe good behaviour towards you. And whomsoever is approached by his brother offering an apology, should accept his apology whether he is right or wrong. If he does not do accordingly, he will not come to the Haudhe-Kauthar.” [Mustadrake Hakim] http://dailyhadith.adaptivesolutionsinc.com/
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He who arises in the morning as obedient to both parents for the pleasure of Allah, then Allah opens out two doors of Paradise for him. If he has a single parent, a single door is opened for him. If he arises in the morning as a disobedient child to his parents, two doors of Hell are opened out to him and if there is one parent then one door is opened out.” A person asked, “Even if the parents are cruel to him or oppress him?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “Even if they oppress him! I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Inform me about a matter that I may hold fast to." He said: 'Say: My Lord is Allah, then be steadfast.' I said: "O Messenger of Allah! What do you fear most for me?" So he took hold of his tongue and said: 'This.'"
The Prophet s.a.w said, "Leave me as I leave you, for the people who were before you were ruined because of their questions and their differences over their prophets. So, if I forbid you to do something, then keep away from it. And if I order you to do something, then do of it as much as you can."
