    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Al-Bayhaqee relates from ‘Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:“There is no time in which the son of Aadam does not remember Allaah in it, except that it will be a source of regret for him on the Day of Judgement”

Anas رضي الله عنه said that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said to a man,

    «أَسْلِم» قَالَ: إِنِّي أَجِدُنِي كَارِهًا قَالَ: «وَإِنْ كُنْتَ كَارِهًا»

'Embrace Islaam.' The man said, 'I dislike it.' The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, 'Even if you dislike it.'

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Charity is obligatory
everyday on every joint of a human being. If one helps a person in matters
concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride it or by lifting his
luggage on to it, all this will be regarded charity.

    A good word, and every
step one takes to offer the compulsory Congregational prayer, is regarded
as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity."

received the news of the severe illness of Safiya bint Abi Ubaid (i.e. his

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Temptations are presented to the heart, one by one. Any heart that accepts them will be left with a black stain, but any heart that rejects them will be left with a mark of purity, so that hearts are of two types: a dark heart that has turned away and become like an overturned vessel, and a pure heart that will never be harmed by temptation for as long as the earth and the heavens exist. The dark heart only recognizes good and denounces evil when this suits its desires and whims.” [Muslim, Kitab al-Iman]
