Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)
Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Narrated/Authority of Jabir
"I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'Whoever gives a lifelong grant to a man, it belongs to him (the recipient) and to his heirs. His (the giver's) words put an end to his right to it, and it belongs to the one to whom it was given for life and to his heirs." Sahih

Bahz bin Hakim (RA) narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Who most deserves (my) reverence?' He (SAW) said: 'Your mother.'" He said: "I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.'" He said: "I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.'" He said: "I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Then your father, then the nearest relatives, then the nearest relatives.'"

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Narrated/Authority of Aisha
I twisted the garlands for the Hadis of the Prophet and then he marked and garlanded them (or I garlanded them) and then made them proceed to the Ka'ba but he remained in Medina and no permissible thing was regarded as illegal for him then.

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Bara' reported: When we prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) we cherished to be on his right side so that his face would turn towards us (at the end of the prayer), and he (the narrator) said: I heard him say: O my Lord ! save me from Thy torment on the Day when Thoil, wouldst raise or gather Thy servants.

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Abu Huraira reported the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as saying: When the prayer commences then there is no prayer (valid), but the obligatory prayer. This hadith has been narrated by Warqa' with the same chain of transmitters

Re: Hadeeth of the day
This hadith has been narrated by Abu Huraira with another chain of transmitters. Hammad (one of the narrators) said : I then met 'Amr (the other narrator) and he narrated it to me, but it was not transmitted directly from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him).

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah
Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
I have never touched silk or Dibaj (i.e. thick silk) softer than the palm
of the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) nor have I smelt a perfume
nicer than the sweat of the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam).

Re: Hadeeth of the day
I [Aisha] never felt so jealous of any woman as I felt of Khadija, for Allah ordered him (the Prophet) to give Khadija the glad tidings of a palace in Paradise (for her)." [Sahih al-Bukhari]

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Reported Aisha:
"Then the Prophet returned therewith, his heart was trembling, and he went to Khadija and said: Wrap me up, wrap me up! So they wrapped him till the fear had left him. He then said to Khadija: O Khadija! what has happened to me? and he informed her of the happening, saying: I fear for myself. She replied: It can't be. Be happy. I swear by Allah that He shall never humiliate you. By Allah, you join ties of relationship, you speak the truth, you bear people's burden, you help the destitute, you entertain guests, and you help against the vicissitudes which affect people."

Re: Hadeeth of the day
A popular saying of the Prophet related to marriage is, as narrated by Aisha:
"That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best of you is the best to his wives, and I am the best of you to my wives, and when your companion dies, leave him alone."" [Jami' at-Tirmidhi]

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Amr bin Al-'As reported:
"That he said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "Who is the most beloved of the people to you?" He said: "'Aishah." He said: "From the men?" He said: "Her father."" [Jami' at-Tirmidhi]

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik
The Prophet never raised his hands for any invocation except for that of Istisqa' and he used to raise them so much that the whiteness of his armpits became visible. (Note: It may be that Anas did not see the Prophet raising his hands, but it is narrated that the Prophet used to raise his hands for invocations other than Istisqa. See Hadith No. 807 & 808 and also see Hadith No. 612, Vol. 5).

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave us the combination of all good and its endings, for he taught us the statements of prayer and the statements of need. The statements of prayer are, “All greetings, prayers, and good things are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I testify there is no God but Allah, and I testify Muhammad is His servant and His messenger.”

Re: Hadeeth of the day
K'ab bin Malik (RA) reported: the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Two hungry wolves sent in the midst of a flock of sheep are no more destructive to them than a man's greed for wealth and fame is to his Deen."
[At- Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Hasan Sahih] (Riyad as-Salihin, Hadith 484)

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "Allah has appointed an angel in the womb, and the angel says, 'O Lord! A drop of discharge (i.e. of semen), O Lord! a clot, O Lord! a piece of flesh.' And then, if Allah wishes to complete the child's creation, the angel will say. 'O Lord! A male or a female? O Lord! wretched or blessed (in religion)? What will his livelihood be? What will his age be?' The angel writes all this while the child is in the womb of its mother."
(Sahih al-Bukhari 3333, Book 60, Hadith 8)
