Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The five (daily) prayers and one Friday prayer to (the next) Friday prayer are expiations (for the sins committed in the intervals) between them.
'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi-Bakrah (RA) narrated from his father that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Which of the people is the best?" He said: "He whose life is long and his deeds are good." He said: "Then which of the people is the worst?" He said: "He whose life is long and his deeds are bad."
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (RA): A man asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "What Islamic traits are the best?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Feed the people, and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know."
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying: 'Allah loves so and so; O Gabriel, love him.' Gabriel would love him, and then Gabriel would make an announcement among the residents of the Heaven, 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore, you should love him also.' So, all the residents of the Heavens would love him and then he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A man felt very thirsty
while he was on the way, there he came across a well. He went down the
well, quenched his thirst and came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and
licking mud because of excessive thirst. He said to himself, "This dog is
suffering from thirst as I did."
So, he went down the well again and filled
his shoe with water and watered it. Allah thanked him for that deed and
forgave him. The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Is there a reward for us
in serving the animals?" He (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) replied: "Yes,
there is a reward for serving any animate (living being)." (See Hadith No.

Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): The Prophet (pace be upon him) said, "Your example and the example of the people of the two Scriptures (i.e. Jews and Christians) is like the example of a man who employed some laborers and asked them, 'Who will work for me from morning till midday for one Qirat?' The Jews accepted and carried out the work. He then asked, Who will work for me from midday up to the `Asr prayer for one Qirat?' The Christians accepted and fulfilled the work. He then said, 'Who will work for me from the `Asr till sunset for two Qirats?' You, Muslims have accepted the offer. The Jews and the Christians got angry and said, 'Why should we work more and get lesser wages?' (Allah) said, 'Have I withheld part of your right?' They replied in the negative. He said, 'It is My Blessing, I bestow upon whomever I wish.'
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Iman has over seventy branches, and modesty is a branch of Iman.”

I asked the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), "What is the best
deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and to fight for His Cause." I then
asked, "What is the best kind of manumission (of slaves)?" He replied, "The
manumission of the most expensive slave and the most beloved by his
master."
I said, "If I cannot afford to do that?" He said, "Help the weak
or do good for a person who cannot work for himself." I said, "If I cannot
do that?" He said, "Refrain from harming others for this will be regarded
as a charitable deed for your own good."
The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi was allam) said:

(Imam) Al-Awza'i, one of the narrators of this Hadith, was asked: "How forgiveness is to be sought?" He answered: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say: 'Astaghfirullah! Astaghfirullah! (I beseech Allah for forgiveness, I beseech Allah for forgiveness)'."
Narrated Al-Hasan ibn Ali (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) taught me some words that I say during the witr. (The version of Ibn Jawwas has: I say them in the supplication of the witr.) They were: "O Allah, guide me among those Thou hast guided, grant me security among those Thou hast granted security, take me into Thy charge among those Thou hast taken into Thy charge, bless me in what Thou hast given, guard me from the evil of what Thou hast decreed, for Thou dost decree, and nothing is decreed for Thee. He whom Thou befriendest is not humbled. Blessed and Exalted art Thou, our Lord."
