Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated/Authority of
Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said heard Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban mentioning that a certain man passed Abu Dharr at ar-Rabadha (which was about 30 miles from Madina) and Abu Dharr asked him, "Where are you heading to?" and he replied, "I am intending to do hajj." Abu Dharr questioned, "Has anything else brought you out?" and he said, "No," so Abu Dharr said "Resume what you are doing wholeheartedly." The man related, "I went on till I came to Makka and I stayed as long as Allah willed. Suddenly, one time, I was with a crowd of people thronging about a man and I pushed through the people to him and it was the old man that I had come across at ar-Rabadha. When he saw me, he recognized me and said, 'Ah, you have done what I told you.' "
Narrated/Authority of
Yahya related to me that Malik had seen that the people of knowledge used to like to pay the zakat al-fitr after dawn had broken on the day of the Fitr before they went to the place of prayer. Malik said, "There is leeway in this, if Allah wills, in that it can be paid either before setting out (for the prayer) on the day of Fitr or afterwards."
Narrated `Imran bin Husain: had piles, so I asked the Prophet (SAW) about the prayer. He said, "Pray while standing and if you can't, pray while sitting and if you cannot do even that, then pray Lying on your side."
‘Ali (RA) said: My prostatic fluid flowed readily, and I was ashamed to consult the Prophet (SAW) because of the position of his daughter so I gave orders to al-Miqdad to consult him, and the Prophet (SAW) said, “He must wash his penis and perform ablution.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (RA) from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Spend (on charity), O son of Adam (AS), and I shall spend on you. It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim).
Narrated `Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Mazini (RA): Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Between my house and the pulpit there is a garden of the gardens of Paradise."
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The adulterer, at the time he is committing adultery, is not a believer; (the wine drinker) at the time he is drinking, is not a believer; the thief, at the time he is stealing, is not a believer; the plunderer, at the time he is plundering with the people looking on, is not a believer.”
Zaid b Khalid al-Juhani (RA) reported Allah’s Messenger (SAW) as saying, “If anyone observes two prostrations without being negligent in them, Allah will forgive him his previous sins.” Ahmad transmitted it.
12. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“Do not choose the Friday night among all other nights for Qiyam (night vigil prayer,) and do not choose Friday among all other days for fasting except that one of you have accustomed to.” (Muslim)
Sulaik Al-Ghatafani came on Friday when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon. He (Sulaik) sat down. So, the Prophet said to him:
“O Sulaik! Stand and observe two rak`ahs and make them short.“
Then he said:
“When any one of you comes on Friday, while the Imam delivers the sermon, he should observe two rak`ahs and should make them short.” (Muslim)
Hudhaifa b. Usaid (RA) reported directly from Allah's Messenger (SAW) that he said: When the drop of (semen) remains in the womb for forty or forty five nights, the angel comes and says: My Lord, will he be good or evil? And both these things would be written. Then the angel says: My Lord, would he be male or female? And both these things are written. And his deeds and actions, his death, his livelihood; these are also recorded. Then his document of destiny is rolled and there is no addition to nor subtraction from it.
Abu Ayyub (RA) reported Allah’s Messenger (SAW) as saying, “My people will continue to prosper (or he said, to follow Islam), as long as they do not postpone the sunset prayer till the stars are not in abundance.” Abu Dawud transmitted it and Darimi transmitted it from al-‘Abbas.
Narrated/Authority of Muhammad bin Sirin
On a rainy day Ibn Abbas said to his Muadh-dhin, "After saying, 'Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah' (I testify that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle), do not say 'Haiya 'Alas-Salat' (come for the prayer) but say 'Pray in your houses'." (The man did so). But the people disliked it. Ibn Abbas said, "It was done by one who was much better than I (i.e. the Prophet (p.b.u.h) ). No doubt, the Jumua prayer is compulsory but I dislike to put you to task by bringing you out walking in mud and slush."
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Do not make my grave a place of festivity, and supplicate Allah for me, for your supplication reaches me wherever you are." [Abu Dawud].
Abu Musa (RA) reported Allah’s Messenger (SAW) as saying, “He who observes the two cool times of prayer (at dawn and after nightfall) will enter paradise.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA), who heard it from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (SAW): "The Mu'adhdhin will be forgiven as far as his voice reaches, and every wet and dry thing will bear witness for him."
Narrated `Aisha (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said to me, "Give up the prayer when your menses begin and when it has finished, wash the blood off your body (take a bath) and start praying."
Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "At every womb Allah appoints an angel who says, 'O Lord! A drop of semen, O Lord! A clot. O Lord! A little lump of flesh." Then if Allah wishes (to complete) its creation, the angel asks, (O Lord!) Will it be a male or female, a wretched or a blessed, and how much will his provision be? And what will his age be?' So all that is written while the child is still in the mother's womb."
Aishah (RA) narrated: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (SAW) while he was dying. He had a cup with water in it, he put his hand in the cup then wiped his face with the water, then said: 'O Allah! Help me with the throes of death and the agony of death.'"
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: Allah has appointed for everyone who has a right what is due to him, and no bequest must be made to an heir.
