Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar

Some people say, is not allowed to take picture of Masjid al haram.
But I often see many pictures or videos from Masjid al haram. Even, now I can see it through live cam.
So, why they say take picture of Majid al haram is forbidden ?.
^ There are official video cameras in the Masjid al Haram, for both televising the salaah and others for security purposes. Taking personal pictures of the Haram'ain isn't allowed, and those who do take pictures do so with the a risk. It's harder to take pictures in Masjid al Nabawi though, then it is in the Masjid al Haram.
What's really annoying is when groups pose in front of the Kaabah for a picture. That's really...
"...You are my Walî in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim, and join me with the righteous." [Surah Yusuf 101]

Last time I went to Umrah, Lots of people were taking pictures from their mobile phone.
I don't think the authority has the power to stop people taking pictures anymore. Before it was different, people had camers and they had a flash, so you would know if someone was taking a picture or not. Nowadays, people can take it from their mobile phone, without a flash, and no one will know whether a picture has beent taken or not.
