The loud takbeeraat at Eidul Adha by the muathineen has ceased for a few years now. I don't know the reason why, so all that was heard on tv were recordings.

I Feel For The Next Few Days Im Going To Be Addicted To The Year 1414 Quran Completion Day. Sheikh Shuraim And Sudais. Its So Beautiful - You Can Become Emotional. They Were The Recitation Tunes We Have On Our Old Tapes And CD's. Sheikh Sudais Used To Recite So Slow As Well. Oh Memories Oh Memories Of Them Days !
Sheikh Hussam/Hissaam Is Sheikh Ahmed Kojas Brother. Mashallah He Has Some Beautiful Qiraat Recitations On The Internet Too.
LOL At The Things You Though Back In Them Days Of The Minaret And Azan Being Called Out From There - Dont Worry I Was The Same! However If You Remember The Interviews Of Sheikh Ali Mullah He Mentioned That Thats How It Used To Be Called Out When There Was No Speakers.

OMG! Just YouTube'd شيخ حسام خوجة and I'm shocked! I've seen him lots in Makkah. He is with the Imaam MOST of the time when they bring the Shaykh to the gate opposite Baab Ajyaad, if I'm not mistaken. I remember the face.

Assalamualaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh,
One Suggestion I Was Thinking Of Today Was Making A Thread Just For Posting What The Imams Have Read In Salaah. So That Thread Would Just Have The Ayaat And Translations Of The Recitations Read In The Different Salaah By The Various Imams.
Some Families [Maybe A Minority] The Parents Save Money From The Time The Child Is Born, And When The Child Reaches A Certain Age The Parents Give The Money To The Children Who Then Are Adults And Mature To Perform Hajj. Alhumdulillah This Is A Good Initiative. Does The Money Used To Perform Hajj Be More Rewarding If That Individual Earnt It Themselves Or Will It Be Less Rewarding If Someone Gave The Other The Money To Perform Hajj?
