***** قال ابن أبي مليكة : أدركت ثلاثين من أصحاب النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - كلهم يخاف النفاق على نفسه
Ibn Abī Mulaykah said: "I encountered thirty Companions of the Prophet, every one of them fearing hypocrisy for himself." [Muslim]
And so Ramadan came to an end and with it Taraweeh and Qiyamul Layl. I hope fellow brothers and sisters made the most of the time.
Having spent the last ten days in Makkah for itikaf I can with assuraty tell you it was priceless (not rubbing it in) Shaykh Shuraims voice was very soothing indeed, although I never got to hear him in Taraweeh, nor Dua but khair inshAllah.
Sudais was top, and whereever you went in makkah you heared his voice blasting from the shops, he only got one hiccup and even that was surreal, sudais mistake, now thats an oxymoron. His khatam dua was very nice, although I think his previous years have been abit better.
Oh while we where sitting in the masjid the strangest thing happened, it was a little before Jumuha then all of a sudden the people stod up and this wave started to advance towards us, mass panic but alhamdulilah no one got injured. And on the 29th of Ramadan between Duhur and Asr the heavens literally opened up and the water started pouring down, so much so that you could see the Kaba for a few seconds. Having asked brothers they say that it almost always happens every year, both these incidents, inshAllah its a sign from Allah.
MashaAllah, that must have been beyond awesome spending the last ten nights inside the Haram. The last part was interesting...jazakallah khair for sharing bro.

There was one day where sheikh budayr took salt ul maghrib and i thought its strange because i thought he wasnt allowed to lead becauses hes imam of madina. Nice to hear you brother khaldun.
Most probably the other imaams had no problem with his leading. If it is suggested, and the present imaams don't have a problem, it would be fine that he leads.
