the purpose of the show is to give english translation, if you want to watch and listen to the khutbah in arabic then try to watch the live coverage

Well Islam Channel doesn't show the khutbah live does it? It shows it about and hour or 2 later innit? What could be done is he translates and that is recorded. That was time will not be tight either. Alternatively, Islam Channel can show the khutbah without the translation on Fridays, Imam Qasim will have more than a day to translate easily without rush and get that recorded, and Islam Channel can show that khutbah on the Sunday. oh well.
However, masha'Allah Imam Qasim really is doing a fantastic job, and may Allah reward him for it.
I miiiiiiiisssseeed! :'( As usual. I didn't even DVD it.

The thread isn't only about Sheikh Sudais, sis Shukria. Its about the imaams of the Haram'ain, and sheikh Sudais isn't the only imaam. hehe. And we're not obsessed. *looks around* Okay, the rest like Arwa, amani, zAk, mst, are obsessed about the Imaams, but I can safely say I'm not. *innocent smile* Anyways, they're wonderful recitors of the Quran. It makes people listen to Quran more then...um..well Sami Yusuf. So nuffin wrong wid it, yea?
"...You are my Walî in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim, and join me with the righteous." [Surah Yusuf 101]

Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar
