Do you want to lose weight? If yes then enter here: (OP)
I am making this thread to help and motivate the brothers and sisters who want to lose weight.. I realize many of you actually want to pack on some pounds so this isn't for you..
enter the food you are having and don't exceed it in caloric intake..
Now I wouldn't advise losing more than a pound a week but some of you might opt for two. Please be mindful that even though your body will breakdown your fat reserves to make up for the deficit it will also breakdown muscle and I won't get into the biochem of that perhaps one of those who newly entered medical school can wow us by listing their fatty acid synthesis and breakdown cycle but we are not interested in that for the purposes of this thread unless you really want to be convinced, know that your body on daily basis has to use energy to filter your waste, detoxify you and pump your tissues full of O2 amongst thousands of other physiological and biochemical pathways..
so to cut down all the mumbo jumbo this is about all you need a diary:
So you wake up and document what you have had I'd also advise a food scale for those of you awful at guesstimating with a single serving is but if you are not then you just put down everything and calculate:
for instance today I had 225 calories for breakfast broken down to:
One English Muffin 120 calories
one Pastrami slice 30 calories
one slice of american cheese 55 calories
one coffee with coffee mate 20 calories
taking the total to 225 for breakfast
Dinner (or lunch) depending on your perspective I had
1/4 cup white beans with tomato sauce 198 calories
Indian fried rice 221 calories
taking my dinner total to 419 calories for a total of 644 consumed
the last meal of the day I'll probably have cereal but you get the picture my daily caloric intake doesn't exceed 1200 (and as I said you can determine that using the scale above) so I have 556 calories left on my scale which I guess I can also have a snack a banana or something if I want..

Exersice does burn calories, but not many, an hour of speed walking only burns 250 calories, if you want to lose weight you should change your diet to lose weight and exercise to tone and shape your body, good luck

I think food plays an important role in gaining weight and loss of weight. Because of I am from Australia and here many foods available for losing weight like Indian restaurants in Australia and here available much better light food.

Not everybody wants to loose weight. When I was young I did tried to gain wieght few times but I wasn't very consistent in following diet.My mother took me to dietitionist back in 2010 and I followed the diet for 1_2 months and I couldn't gain much wieght though and as soon as I left the diet plan I was back to my original weight. I was in college I was carrying 3 tiffins one for roti and vegetable one for curd and one for fruits.I dont like curd much but dietisionsit told me curd is a must if you want to gqin wieght. It was so embarrassing once someone asked me are you ill.I said no why ? She said you carry so many tiffins so I thought maybe you are sick doctor told you to eat all these.
I am attaching the plan given by my dietitionist if anyone interested. Gaining wieght now is out of question for me.Even though it didn't helped me much but following this diet had a tremendous effect on my skin it was looking so healthy.
Don't want to discourage anyone who is trying to gain or loose weight but what I learned that your weight is predetermined. Yes you will gain or loose weight if you follow diet or do excersize but your body constantly trying to go back to your original wieght. As soon as leave the diet you will be back on same weight.
