My name is Hamayun and I am 31 years old. I was born with a Muslim name and in a Muslim family but I didn't know anything about Islam until a few years ago.
I have been reading the english translation of the Quran and also been watching Peace TV a lot. I am very moved by the speeches of Mr Ahmad Deedat.
My wife who was French and a Christian started asking me questions about Islam which led me to read about it and realise what I was missing in life.
My wife has taken Shahada and is now a Muslim too.
We both need a lot of advice and guidance and we hope this place will help us get the answers.
to the forum akhi.. I have answered in a rather brusque manner, your other thread, more to do with my lack of patience with some Muslims than a genuine loss for how to help.. perhaps you can get your friend on this forum during Ramadan.. although I am a firm believer that al houda is from Allah swt, and a person has to desire it for him/herself as is in suret al modathir 74 each soul is indeed held in pledge by its own deeds...
