سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ - SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah)
Whoever recites [the above] one Hundred times, a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped away.Sahih Muslim; #4:2073.
This is a picture of "Bedug", a big drum in Indonesian masjid.
At the past, every muezzin in Indonesian masjid always beat "bedug" before saying azan, this was a tradition in Indonesian Muslim people. But now I find, many muezzins have left this tradition after beating "bedug" has categorized as Bid'ah.
Sheikh Farooq Abdul-Rahman Hadhrawi. But not his normal adhaan, only the one he does at Tahajjud time. At that time, I dunno, it just seems to come from within the depths of his heart with such real feeling (I know all the adhaans are) But this is out of this world. Especially when you are there and it's echoing all around through the speakers, subhaanallah. Personally I think it must be one of the best adhaans that has ever been heard on planet Earth.
Allah alone knows which athaan is the best, but my favourites are by Sheikh Tawfeeq Khouj, Sheikh Naaif Fayda, Sheikh Faarooq Hadhrawiyy, Sheikh Muhammad Siraaj Ma'roof and Sheikh Ali Mullah (all Makkah Muathins)
is this from bosnia? Jazakallah khayr for sharing akhee
