Come on sis if you HAD TO to pick ONE - which one would it be SS / SST? (**the pressure is on**)
You're too right the pressure is on!
Well.. the thing is.. it depends what CD it is?
..cos the whole Qur'an by SS is available masha'Allah whereas not with SST. SST just has a few surahs.. now if someone gave me something DIFFERENT of SST's then I think I'd go for SST. :zip:
Mashallah a true SST fan then - see told you if you were pushed far enough then you would HAVE to decide!
May allah swt give the Shaykhs long life, good health and continue to fill our hearts with the love of the Quran Al Kareem through their exceptional recitations!!
Between Sheikh Shuraim and Sheikh Sudais...I choose Sheikh Sudais. *hides*
Between Sheikh Shuraim and Sheikh Taalib....I choose Sheikh Shuraim. *hides further*
:sister:
ditto
sheikh shuraim is 1% behind sas to me tho.so its a close election
Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar
as for me i love eraly SAS recitations, they r simply mindblowing...but i donna, i think SAS voice changed or something, and prefer to listen to SS new style
i think SS is much better recitor than Budayr, sas and sst. i would put (out of 10) Shuraim=10 Sudais=9 Budayr=7 Salih Talib=5.5 that is my honest opinion
soon Budayr and if Slih goes back to his old tune then they will both overtake Shuraim not soon maybe 6 or 7 years later
although sas recitation in the early 90s was world class he has changed an awful lot but still mashallah he is good. as for sst he had a beautiful recitation in taraweeh but now he has changed dramatically
You can't really say you don't like how they recite. After all, he's reciting the Noble Quran. He has his own way.
So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned.
(Sura Ya-Seen 36:83)
