Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
Okay then Princess, I did some research on this on that wunnerful site that you gave me yesterday (awww my heart is still doing little skips of love for you ) and here's some of what I read :
Zaid ibn Khaalid al-Juhanee said that a man came to Rasulullah and asked him concerning Luqatah (things that we find and pick up) so Rasulullah said "Look at the vessel it is in and it's markings and then announce it for a year. So if the owner comes (then give it to him) otherwise it is yours to do as you wish. So Fadhaalah asked "What about Goats O Rasulullah" So He said "It is for you or for your brother or for the Wolves" So Fadhaalah said "And what about Camels?" He said "And what is your interest in it? It can find water and feed from the trees until it's owner finds it"
عن عبد الرحمن بن عثمان التيمي
أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن لقطة الحاج
قال أحمد قال ابن وهب يعني في لقطة الحاج يتركها حتى يجدها صاحبها
From Abdurrahmaan ibn Uthmaan at-Taymee That Rasulullah peace be upon him Forbade for the Person performing Hajj to pick up what he finds
Ahmad said that Ibn Wahb said concerning the Hadeeth " it means that if a person performing hajj comes across something he should leave it until the owner finds it"
Okay then!! My next Question :
Give us some Hadeeth which forbid us from slandering the Dead
i think it was in that book, umm salamah used to teach..bil fath ...bil kasr...wa bi dhammi..just can't remember the books.
Sheikha Aysha also mentioned it in daraaree when we we're doing "kitaab al-luqata".....
it goes sumthing like...luqaatatun wa luqatatun wa laqata...
BTW : what was that books name ..^^^ bil fath....it had like all the words that change from alif -kasr-fatha , in to a qaseeta!
^^ OOOOOH Yeah I know that book and I used to have it!! and Umm Salamah when she was doing "Assunnah wa As-haab al-Hadeeth" with us she gave us quite a few but I never remembered any except for one Here's how it goes :
Da3awtu Rabbi Da3wah
Lamma Ataa Biddi3wah
Faqultu 3indi Du3wah
In Zurtani Fi Rajabi
Bil Fat-hi lillahi Da3aa
Wal Kasru Aslud Di3aa
Wadhdhammu Shay'un Suni3a
Lil 2akli 3inda at-darabi
Yeah that was a cool book but I can't remember the name, it was a small book though I know that
you see what happens when you leave us ladies unattended...ROFL
wa alaykum ass salaam
ps: i was gonna ask you sumthing , but there's no point of askin' you what i was gonna ask , cause you know what i was gonna ask you, cause i've asked for it b4 !!
Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant.
Al-Araf Verse 199
The Evil one threatens you with poverty and bids you to conduct unseemly. Allah promiseth you His forgiveness and bounties. And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things.
Al-Baqara Verse 268
SubhanAllah just from this verse its clear that those who are evil will do acts which cause us to feel angered but we must not allow this anger to last!
Now for the Sunnah!
[PIE]Abu Kabsha Ameri reported that the Messenger of Allah said:
By One in whose hand there is my life there are three things had I been an oathtaker, I would have taken aoth about them :
No wealth diminishes on account of charity, and no man pardons an oppression seeking thereby the pleasure of Allah but Allah will increase honour therewith on the Resurrection day and no man opens the door of begging for himself but he opens the door of poverty for himself.

My tears testify that i have a heart
yet i feel me and shaytan never part

A funeral procession passed and the people praised the deceased. The Prophet said, "It has been affirmed to him." Then another funeral procession passed and the people spoke badly of the deceased. The Prophet said, "It has been affirmed to him". 'Umar bin Al-Khattab asked (Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) ), "What has been affirmed?" He replied, "You praised this, so Paradise has been affirmed to him; and you spoke badly of this, so Hell has been affirmed to him. You people are Allah's witnesses on earth."
its sahih bukhari !!!
so brothers/sisters never speak bad of the dead

^ Subhanallah!! I never knew of this hadeeth before!! I had a complete different hadeeth in my mind and it is narrated from Aisha radihallahu anha she said that Rasulullah said "Do not speak badly of the dead for verily they have already gone to meet with their Deeds"
Oh Subhanallah that's surely a hadeeth to take seriously.
