"O you men! Surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you into tribes and families so that you may know each other; Surely the most honourable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); Surely Allah is Knowing, All-Aware." (49:13)
It reads something like: ...And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmir (the thin membrane over the date-stone).
According to one of the translations: Qitmir: The thin, white skin that covers the date-stone. It has neither strength, nor texture, and has no value whatever. Anyone relying on any power other than that of Allaah relies on nothing whatever, The Qitmir is worse than the proverbial "broken reed". (Makes reference to other ayahs such as Surah 4:124) where the word naqir, 'the groove in a date-stone', is used similarly for a thing of no value or significance.
QUOTE: "several times quran is mentioned, from top of my head i can give several example surah Yusuf verse 2 "inna anzahnahu Quranan Arabiyal...", surah dhar/insan "fa iza qaranaho Fattabe a Qurana", surah Qiyamat "inna elaina jama aho wa qurana", surah yaseen "Yaa-seen, Wal Quranil Hakeem", surah yunus, and many other verses, "
How many other verses, containg the word "QUR'AAN" can you think of?

1.nafsul mutmainah The righteous enter into their inheritance {paradise}and receive their welcome with a title that suggests freedom from all pain, sorrow, doubt, struggle, disappointment, passion, and even further desire; at rest, in peace; in a state of complete satisfaction. In Muslim theology, this stage of the soul is the final stage of bliss.
2.The unregenerate human soul, that seeks its satisfaction in the lower earthly desires, is the Ammara (xii. 53).
3.The self-reproaching soul that feels conscious of sin and resists it is the Lawwama (lxxv. 2,
Q.quote Ayatul Birr?
So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned.

:rose:This beauty that I have is just a simple part of me.This body that I have, no stranger has a right to see. These long clothes and this shawl I wear, ensure my modesty.Faith is far less fickle than fashion. Wouldn’t you agree?
asalaam! ok lets go straight into the deepend! You may need to know a bit about arabic for this challenge! find in the Quran where a command word ends in the letter daad! command words are words such as ithhab (go) irkab (ride) irfa' (rise) uqtul (kill) etc
as a warm up there should be a quite a few of them in the Quran. Your challenge is to find just one (i know of atleast one)! happy hunting!
After the advent of Islam or during the very early days of Islam, Muslims were facing the Jerusalem while performing the Salat. But there is no command in the Qur'an to face the Jerusalem for Salat.
So how that happened and why?

“Do not allow your enemy to define you. Because if you allow yourself to be defined negatively, nothing positive you say about yourself will register.”
does this apply : Urkuz birijlika haaza mughtasalun baaridun waSharaab ???
note : i am bad at arabic
mashaa Allah! Excellent bro zak! you got the exact one i was thinking of, although i know of another!
next one.. where in the Qur aan does it come "minhu alaa" (that is alaa with alif laam)
bro preacher is it due to the command in the Quraan
"[2.144] Indeed We see the turning of your face to heaven, so We shall surely turn you to a qiblah which you shall like; turn then your face towards the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you are, turn your face towards it, and those who have been given the Book most surely know that it is the truth from their Lord; and Allah is not at all heedless of what they do."

hmm, no taker so far? I thought some one will insha Allah unveil the answer. But for some reason people have chosen to ignore the above valid question.
