i wonder how mirpuri was inented...or how it came along..I bet it was started bt a fmily that had one urdu speaker, one punjabi speaker, one singer(teeek taaakkk, raaaazi baaazi. make everything rhyme) and one rude person 9can be seen a rude) lol
The Pothohari language otherwise known as Mirpuri or Potwari is an Indo-European language spoken from the Potwar district around Rawalpindi, Pakistan to the Indian-Kashmiri border in the Mirpur district in Azad Jammu Kashmir. It is closely related to Panjabi and Romani (Gypsy), but is distinct from these languages.
There is some dialect continuum with Hindko and the Jhelumi dialect of Panjabi. Pothohari speakers may understand Panjabis both from India and Pakistan, but these groups may not understand Pothohari.
Pothohari displays some characteristics which indicate that it is in fact older than Panjabi, disputing the idea that it is a dialect of Panjabi. The Romani language first developed prior to Panjabi, and this shares many characteristics unique only to Pothohari and Romani, and not shared with Panjabi

All thats telling us is it is as confused as much as we are about how it came about. i think is must have started according to my theory.
but nowadadays we got british mirpuri init sukyaa! lol mirpuri is like a remix version of alot of languages i think...some bits words are smiliar to arabic ones.
I dont see why people associate swearing with Mirpuri. I believe this has to do with the way people are bought up. There are good and bad people everywhere.
Just because someone doesnt understand a language doesnt mean it is slang. It happens to be an Indo European language, quite distinct from Punjabi. It is not a dialect. It is a lot older.
There are a lot of unfair stereotypes going around, and it boils down to peoples ignorance.
i wasnt being stereotypical...was just having a laugh.....i know mirpuri lingo is a language in itself...not slang....i just said it sounds like it thats all...and swearing is in every language...i jus find it funny thats all.....i wasnt directing something towards the language itself...i think its a great language....
however if you still feel i meant something wrong...then plz 4give me cus i didnt mean 2 say anything of the sort intentionally

To ask a question is to show ignorance; not to ask a question, means you remain ignorant
