well sis i just wana ask why wear them? IF god give you beautiful eyes why do you wana change the colour???
ok for me i wear clear for sight but NOT colour therefore me eyes are naturally blue and am blessed with them so sis if there clear then why not but colour just attracts!
w.salam
I am not a scolar but somebody had asked the same question and the maulana/ shiekh said that since they were a form of adornment they were not allowed if worn infront of na-mahram man.
YES, i also wear contact lenses for sight. But clear sight for me from my opticians was not available due to my prescription. My eyes are brown and my contacts are brown. It is not visible to anyone and does not attract attention, i would just like to know the ruling

sis well ok now lets be abit logic well If they are the same colour to your eyes then wear them but if they are too too bright then that attracts attention, now on behalf sis my eyes are blue and bright but i was raised from a christain whom had blue eyesy so god created me with them so i do wear clear for sight at times but not colour.
sis i suggess you ask someone who is logic on this info cause i am a revert and sis i don't have a problem with contacts cause in the past i used to wear them too but not anymore but just be careful how you wear them and also when you need to trake them out then thats allowed

Ophthalmic contact lenses: those that are used to correct long- or short-sightedness etc. There is nothing wrong with using this kind of contact lenses on the advice of a specialist eye-doctor.
Coloured cosmetic contact lenses: these come under the rulings on adornment. If a woman wears them for her husband, there is nothing wrong with it. If she is wearing them where others will see her too, then it should not cause any fitnah or temptation. There is also the condition that they should not cause any harm, and there should be no element of cheating or deceiving, such as a woman wearing them when she meets the man who is proposing marriage to her. Also, they should not be extravagantly expensive, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “… and waste not by extravagance…” [al-An’aam 6:141].
JAZAKALLAH, that helps alot. well.... you see i wear the coloured contact lenses only at mosque.... and there are only women there... so it doesn't cause any temptation.... or fitnah..
Sis don't you think your money would be better spent in investing for the here after? and dont you think it would just create fitnah for guy, I mean I've seen niqabis wear contacts or make up and dang I mean, u know, lol.
The path is long but I hope we meet,
After the grave and the Day, in paradise in bliss upon a reclined seat.
A traveler traveling - travelled from shirk to tawheed,
If I'm remembered for anything - let it be the Mercy I seek.
your eye colour im sure is very nice. coloured contacts just reek of fakeness
Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar
One difference is that in one your just showing your fashion sense, and in the other your openly expressing that what they see is what you are.
Its the same, essitianly when one wears a jacket which makes them look 'muscly'
Isn't it?
I would consider both being identical.
But, that is simply my opinion. I believe we should wear should wear modest clothing and anything that is worn to enhance physical features is not modest in my viewpoint.
HEY BOY U SHUD BE LOWERIN YA GAZE LOL
no i mean i wear clear ones anyways n if i add a cuppla more quid n get coloured n clear ones in one then i dont think ill have wasted money... u do have a point tho
