I have always found his story to be very interesting, even when I was very young. (I think back then though I liked it because he had such different names before and after conversion :P) But he is actually one of the people I looked at when I began to consider my own conversion.

I was thinking of him as I've been stepping into my own conversion into Islam. I'm not a big fan of his music, but I can relate to his journey to Islam.
This was a very beautiful video. And I was so happy to see the wisdom in his coming to understand that musical talent is a gift of Allah and it can/should be used to glorify Him.
