On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
قُلْ اَمَرَ رَبِّيْ بِا لْقِسْطِ ۗ وَاَ قِيْمُوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَّا دْعُوْهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَـهُ الدِّيْنَ ۗ كَمَا بَدَاَ كُمْ تَعُوْدُوْنَ ۗ
"Say, [O Muhammad], My Lord has ordered justice and that you maintain yourselves [in worship of Him] at every place [or time] of prostration, and invoke Him, sincere to Him in religion. Just as He originated you, you will return [to life] -"
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 29)
وَلِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلٌ ۚ فَاِ ذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَئۡخِرُوْنَ سَا عَةً وَّلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَ
"And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 34)

اِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَ رْضَ فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّا مٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۗ يُغْشِى الَّيْلَ النَّهَا رَ يَطْلُبُهٗ حَثِيْثًا ۙ وَّا لشَّمْسَ وَا لْقَمَرَ وَا لنُّجُوْمَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍ بِۢاَمْرِهٖ ۗ اَ لَا لَـهُ الْخَـلْقُ وَا لْاَ مْرُ ۗ تَبٰرَكَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ
"Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 54)
وَاِ لٰى عَا دٍ اَخَاهُمْ هُوْدًا ۗ قَا لَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَـكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ ۗ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ
"And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?"
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 65)
وَلُوْطًا اِذْ قَا لَ لِقَوْمِهٖۤ اَتَأْتُوْنَ الْفَا حِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ اَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ
"And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds?"

وَلَوْ اَنَّ اَهْلَ الْقُرٰۤى اٰمَنُوْا وَا تَّقَوْا لَـفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَكٰتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَا لْاَ رْضِ وَلٰـكِنْ كَذَّبُوْا فَاَ خَذْنٰهُمْ بِمَا كَا نُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ
"And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 96)
قَا لَ فِرْعَوْنُ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِهٖ قَبْلَ اَنْ اٰذَنَ لَـكُمْ ۚ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَّكَرْتُمُوْهُ فِى الْمَدِيْنَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوْا مِنْهَاۤ اَهْلَهَا ۚ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ
"Said Pharaoh, You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people. But you are going to know."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 123)
فَاَ رْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوْفَا نَ وَا لْجَـرَا دَ وَا لْقُمَّلَ وَا لضَّفَا دِعَ وَا لدَّمَ اٰيٰتٍ مُّفَصَّلٰتٍ ۗ فَا سْتَكْبَرُوْا وَكَا نُوْا قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِيْنَ
"So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 133)
وَا تَّخَذَ قَوْمُ مُوْسٰى مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ مِنْ حُلِيِّهِمْ عِجْلًا جَسَدًا لَّهٗ خُوَا رٌ ۗ اَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّهٗ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمْ وَلَا يَهْدِيْهِمْ سَبِيْلًا ۘ اِتَّخَذُوْه ُ وَكَا نُوْا ظٰلِمِيْنَ
"And the people of Moses made, after [his departure], from their ornaments a calf - an image having a lowing sound. Did they not see that it could neither speak to them nor guide them to a way? They took it [for worship], and they were wrongdoers."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 148)
Transliteration: Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoo wahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim milo alardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi olaika lahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireena Translation: Verily, those who disbelieved, and died while they were disbelievers, the (whole) earth full of gold will not be accepted from anyone of them even if they offered it as a ransom. For them is a painful torment and they will have no helpers.
[Quran 3:91]
Ta Ha 20:123
قَالَ ٱهْبِطَا مِنْهَا جَمِيعًۢاۖ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّۖ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدًى فَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هُدَاىَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَىٰ
[ Allah ] said, "Descend from Paradise - all, [your descendants] being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter].

وَا لَّذِيْنَ عَمِلُوا السَّيِّاٰتِ ثُمَّ تَا بُوْا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهَا وَاٰ مَنُوْۤا اِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ

Transliteration: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum la yaloonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badati albaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhum akbaru qad bayyanna lakumu alayati in kuntum taAAqiloona Translation: O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitanah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand.
[Quran 3:118]
وَلِلّٰهِ الْاَ سْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰى فَا دْعُوْهُ بِهَا ۖ وَذَرُوا الَّذِيْنَ يُلْحِدُوْنَ فِيْۤ اَسْمَآئِهٖ ۗ سَيُجْزَو ْنَ مَا كَا نُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ۖ
"And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 180)
So there befell them the evil (consequences) of what they earned; and (as for) those who are unjust from among these, there shall befall them the evil (consequences) of what they earn, and they shall not escape.
Transliteration: La yattakhithi almuminoona alkafireena awliyaa min dooni almumineena waman yafAAal thalika falaysa mina Allahi fee shayin illa an tattaqoo minhum tuqatan wayuhaththirukumu Allahu nafsahu waila Allahi almaseeru Translation: Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliya (supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allah warns you against Himself (His Punishment), and to Allah is the final return.
[Quran 3:28]
وَاِ نْ تَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلَى الْهُدٰى لَا يَسْمَعُوْا ۗ وَتَرٰٮهُم ْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ
"And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see."

وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ Transliteration: Waman yabtaghi ghayra alislami deenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee alakhirati mina alkhasireena Translation: And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
[Quran 3:85]
يَسْــئَلُوْنَكَ عَنِ الْاَ نْفَا لِ ۗ قُلِ الْاَ نْفَا لُ لِلّٰهِ وَا لرَّسُوْلِ ۚ فَا تَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَ صْلِحُوْا ذَا تَ بَيْنِكُمْ ۖ وَاَ طِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗۤ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ
"They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the bounties [of war]. Say, The [decision concerning] bounties is for Allah and the Messenger. So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers."
(QS. Al-Anfaal 8: Verse 1)
