The Five forts Plan

.
1. Recitation and Listening:
-
Reciting: is to recite 2 juz' a day, so you should finish reciting the whole quran once every 15 day
(That will help you get familiar with the words of the quran which will ake it easy to memorise new surah's and revise surah's that have been memorised before)
it should not take you more than 20 minutes for one Juz', if it takes more then i advice you to read while listening to the quran to learn how to speed up reading
the more you read, the more you will be familiar with the words, the faster you will be while reciting, memorising and revising.
here's a link of the hard copy of the quran that we will be using in the plan

if you want to read it online then go here

-
Listening: is to listen to one Hizb (half a juz' = 10 pages) everyday, so you should finish listening to the whole quran once every 60 days
(That will help you to learn the correct pronunciations of the words of the Quran)
The best Reciter to Listen to is Al-Husary, and here's a link to the audio file divided into pages so you can choose which page you want to listen to

2. Preparations:
like any subject we study at school, when you read the topic before you go to lecture, you find yourself understand it better than reading it after the lecture
the Qur'an is the same, needs preparation, the more you read it before memorising, the easiest it will be to memorise
here we have three preparation:
-
Weekly preparation: to read the five pages once EVERYDAY during the week before memorisation
-
Nightly preparation: to listen to the page that you are going to memorize the following day for about 15 minutes
and to read it for another 15 minutes
-
Pre-memorizing preparation: on the day you will memorize the page, before you start memorizing, you need to read that page again for 15 minutes
after all these preparation it should be easy to memorise that page for the number of times you went through it
3. Memorization:
you will memorise that page for no more/less than 15 minutes
you could say i already memorized it in 5 minutes, i will say keep memorizing for 15 minutes if you want perfect memorization
4. Near Revision:
revise everyday (with a closed book) the last 20 pages that you have memorized
5- Far Revision:
to revise what you have memorised before the Near revision
and it will be done once a week
You: this is too much work
Me: did anyone tell you that going to Paradise is easy ??
.
.
.
You: that will take lots of time
Me: is it too much to spend 3 hours a day preparing for Jannah ??
